Short Property Description
My home and property are efficient, fully off-grid, nature friendly place.
In this glorious regional countryside the property exists within a small township and stands out as a natural spring fed oasis tucked away like a charming secret on a small seasonal creek.
I am establishing a self sustaining native animal breeding facility which is nestled in extensively landscaped native gardens which I share with; 1 dog, 2 emus, 4 geese, and Seven sugar gliders.
I am in the process of using permacultural principals to expand my breeding capacity and the associated habitat development. Currently, the garden is a botanical gem with diverse native gardens, wandering animals, and fantastic collection of about 30 different species of fruiting trees in two separate orchards.
The passive solar designed home is set on 3 acres and situated in rural central Victoria about 90 mins from Melbourne.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I became a host as a result of meeting an existing host on the island of Atauro in Timor. The managers are lovely Australian bloke and his Wife who explained the role WWOOFers had played in the fantastic eco-resort which is now prospering.
Also, when I was a backpacking Aussie I have also had the chance to work and live in a variety of places which included exchanging work for education/accommodation.
These experiences have become the most valuable part of who I have become, and want to share the chance that a stay at my place will become valuable memories through this kind of experience for others as well.
