Short Property Description
We are a small-scale family farm located in the Swan Valley, just 25 minutes from Perth. Our main focus is animal husbandry, with cattle, sheep, pigs, and chickens that we care for daily. Alongside this, we grow a variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables and bake wood-fired bread, all of which we sell at our weekend farmers market.
Organic/Biological methods we use
At Keller’s Farm we use organic and biological methods to care for our land and animals. We recycle manure and food waste into compost and mulch to build soil fertility, rotate livestock to naturally fertilize paddocks and break pest cycles, and encourage beneficial insects through diverse plantings. Our poultry and geese help with pest control, while mulching, slashing, and cover crops reduce the need for chemicals. By combining these practices with water-wise management and pollinator-friendly habitats, we maintain healthy soils, resilient crops, and a balanced farm ecosystem.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We have welcomed many people to our farm over the years and love sharing our skills and way of life. By hosting, we benefit from extra help with daily farm tasks and support in our wood-fired bakery and at the farmers market on weekends. In return, we strive to provide an enjoyable and rewarding experience for those interested in working with animals, learning about farm life, and meeting new people through our farm shop.
