We are 80kms north of Melbourne (10 kms from Romsey) on 120 acres of rolling hills, beautiful views & wildlife. We need assistance looking after our friendly cattle, vegie patch and other jobs include collecting firewood, tree planting, weeding, mulching, fencing & whatever needs doing. Must be able to work unsupervised. Accommodation is in 2 bedrooms (with own bathroom & toilet). All linen, pillows & doonas supplied. No children. Mixed diet, including meat. NON-SMOKERS only. Min stay 3 days, negotiable after first few days. Must give WWOOF ID & contact phone number on first contact. Our citrus farm is about half way between Sydney & Brisbane. Bonville is a lovely area, just South of Coffs Harbour. People enjoy the space & peace here, -and we do have wifi! Sawtell Village is only 15 minutes away - surfing, beach walking, street cafes, post office, cinema & shops you can do them all. You can cycle there on one of our bicycles, complete with helmet, or we can give you a lift. Our main farm work takes place in the morning, with a tea break half way through. WWOOFers start at 8am., and finish by 1pm. Accommodation is separate from the house and has its own bathroom, TV, kettle, etc. Meals are shared at the house with us, except for breakfast, which is taken in the accommodation. Volunteering includes caring for citrus trees, helping in the greenhouses, picking, packing and mulching. Afterwards, you can relax in our pool, walk to the creek, take a nap, explore Sawtell or Coffs Harbour, watch TV, read - the choice is yours. We look forward to meeting you!

We have a beautiful 40 acre horse agistment property, veggie garden & fruit trees and approx. 5 acres bush. 3 min drive to surf beach, bay beach & Inverloch town or 10 min drive to Wonthaggi, a larger town. Push bikes available. We are very interested in living a sustainable lifestyle and hope that our WWOOFers are also interested in living sustainably and learning, and sharing knowledge of this. There are almost always wallabies at our farm and if you are lucky you may see kangaroos, echidnas, wombats & occasional koalas. Volunteering may include harvesting, food collection, composting, mulching, hay carting, weeding, fencing, planting, food preservation.  Sometimes there is some work caring for horses: often all the work is in the garden and paddock maintenance, as the horses are mainly looked after by their owners. Accommodation for up to 3 in our home, although we usually prefer 2. Shared meals, cook together. We eat a healthy, sustainable diet.  Bron is vegan and while Ray eats most foods, many meals are vegan or vegetarian.  Vegetarians & vegans catered for.  No children, no smoking, all stays negotiable on application. Jindabyne is the dormitory town for the Snowy Mountains ski fields. We are only 5 mins from the centre of town with a fabulous view looking across Lake Jindabyne to the snow covered mountains. The gallery is situated on 5 acres & help is needed for ground maintenance, gardens & an organic veggie garden. Walk to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko, a must in summer, ski in winter (some equipment available). Mountain biking, horse riding & swimming. Sailing, windsurfing & bicycling around the lake in summer. We practice alternative living in the sense of building our own dwellings and outbuildings, running our own power systems, and growing as much of our own food as possible. We also operate a small pottery onsite. We spend time maintaining the property & gardens, enjoying the native flora & fauna, and working to enhance the natural environment. Volunteering is varied and includes: gardening, mowing, wood collection, tree pruning, building, fencing, track construction and General farm maintenance. Accommodation for 2 in a separate, self contained flat near our house or a separate caravan. Most shared meals, also self-catering available, food provided. Mixed diet, meat sometimes included. We are located in the outer suburbs of Brisbane on 5 acres.  Leisure facilities include 25m lap pool, push bikes & home theatre. We back onto the Brisbane Koala Bushlands which have many kms of walking tracks. Our cheese factory is in production. We make cheese every few days, but cheese maturation, packaging and delivery are done every day.  We have 3 pet goats. Volunteering includes cheese making, help with goats, general maintenance & gardening. Accommodation for up to 2, single or couple only, within our home. Shared meals, all cook together. We are mainly vegetarians with a few meat dishes on occasions unless we have vegetarians staying. We don't cater for vegans, mostly our meals have dairy and eggs and we don't substitute. No children. No smoking, not even outside. Min stay 2 weeks. We are close to Brisbane city, only 25 kms away.  On your downtime, we can take you to the bus station, only 25 minutes on the bus to the city or catch a train to the Gold Coast. A variety of activities and events are happening all year round in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Suburban 1 acre garden, 30 mins for Brisbane CBD we bought 1 year ago trying to grow/subsidise our food, we have planted trees, created a vegetable garden, and fresh eggs from our 3 chickens. As for the living / stay a private room is available in our home it is quiet here for the suburbs and lots to do a short drive takes you out to country areas to explore, staying so close to the city of Brisbane many attractions and 1 hour away there are ferry's to different islands offshore. Been keen cooks also so lots of fun exchanging different recipes we also improving/ small renovations on buildings so new skills to learn too

We operate Flat Creek Station, a 14,000HA family owned property raising beef cattle & incorporating tourism, 350 kms west of Cairns & 50 kms south of Georgetown. Tourism involves a camping ground catering for gold fossickers & bird watchers. We are currently running 800 head of mostly Brahman breeding stock, all free range. We have a new Permaculture garden to provide fresh, organic produce all year round. We have citrus & other fruit trees, some free range hens & ducks. Volunteering varies from station work, including cattle handling, fencing, welding, gardening, poultry care & grounds maintenance. WWOOFers must be gay-friendly and non-smokers. Cypress hill is 220 Acres of Black Pine Cypresses and native gums. The property has abundant wildlife of kangaroos, wombats, goannas, birds and foxes and plenty of bush to explore. There are two houses both built by hand from locally quarried stone the main house has two fireplaces and the studio has one fireplace.

I have 3 Certified Organic properties in Lorinna. Home is 70 acres (40 cleared) in a beautiful mountain valley, bordering Lake Cethana. Second is 95 acres higher in the valley – magnificent views, cleared & divided into paddocks for grazing cattle & growing hay. I am self-sufficient & produce nearly all I need incl electricity. I have a large veggie garden & orchard & have not shopped in a supermarket for years. I milk our house cows & raise beef cattle using cell grazing. A lawn is grazed by free-range guinea pigs, keep rabbits for love & dinners.I enjoy good food & wine, music, reading & current affairs and live in a large hay bale house. Volunteer tasks include gardening, fieldwork, haymaking, animal care, firewood collection/stacking etc depending on skills & needs. Recreation: bushwalking, swimming, reading & social activities. Accommodation in WWOOF house across the field from my house, all meals in my house with me. Couples OK. No children. We are a young couple in our late 50s. We live in a peaceful scenic setting surrounded by forest & incredible wildlife. Great swimming, mountain bikes & bushwalks available. Our house is solar powered & passive. We are a commercial Certified Bio-dynamic farm, growing vegetables & beef. Tasks include vegetable harvesting, working with cattle, firewood collection, etc. We make all our own B-d preparations &  compost heaps. We have a young man who also lives here who is market gardening on the property using BD methods, no dig, and runs hothouses in conjunction with outdoor seasonal cropping. A great resource for information and of intensive growing experiences. He can always use assistance too! Our three grown children are often staying with us at the farm as they develop their own businesses and homes here. Accommodation for 1-3 in nearby cabin or simple cabin by the dam. Mixed diet to suit. Meals varied, vegetarian & meat eating, please no vegans or fruitarians. WWOOFers may assist with meal prep. Easy to reach by bus from Perth to Donnybrook. We will pick up.

A Typical Day: If you come here, you’ll volunteer 3 hours a day and you have your weekends off. Hours are flexible so there are good opportunities to find a paid job in town as well. Short stays are ok but longer stays are preferable. Volunteering will be, according to need, weeding, planting, harvesting, and other tasks.
