  • A other German engineer had recommended this Plattform to get in touch with the locals. He sad: if you want to work longer and can give a hard hand then go with wwoof. So, I’m use to it to trust my feelings after a conversation. It was a very nice guy and here I am. I would love to prof myself and my abilities. And as I sad: Stay a bit longer on one area and I really like to give a hand where it’s needed. Looking forward to hear from you.

Engaging with socially responsible people and produces to enable - A desire to learn and further develop my abilities first hand from people and places. To contribute to something meaningful and more sustainable in the big picture. I love soil! I dislike the word dirt in reference to soil.

I joined WWOOF because I've tried one way of living and I want to try something new now. I feel a very strong urge to experience a different way of living. I want to experience working on farms. I sometimes help a friend of mine at his property doing odd jobs and that made me realise that I enjoy working outside in nature and now I would like to do it more and learn skills required to work at farms. And while doing that, meet and connect with different people. Another reason is that, even though I've been living in Australia for a while, I still feel like I haven't seen it at all. I want to travel around this country and live in different places and have different experiences altogether.

I joined wwoof for a bunch of reasons. I love nature, I love organic things, the culture around it and the people who provide it. For about 5 years I've kept meeting people from overseas and had them talk about how beautiful Australia is and I've had very little idea of where they were talking about when they mentioned some of these Australian spots. So I decided this year to travel around and see the wonders that Australia has to offer. I'd heard about woofing before realised  when I looked at the website how incredibly the opportunities offered were so I decided to join, learn a bunch of things, meet some lovely people and have amazing experiences

I joined WWOOF because: 1. I refuse to be just a normal tourist, running around, photographing things and rushing on. So I want to experience Australia from the australian point of view. 2. I want to learn new things and skills, whether farming practices or skills with tools or animals. I am just open to anything.

We want to learn about this country's culture, and wwoofing is one of the best way to do so by working with passionate people and with the opportunity to travel around the country. To be honest, we don't have any experience on working in a farm, but we are eager to learn and ready to improve. Our english isn't the best, so we wish to improve it by talking with people.

I joined WWOOF because I really like the attitude towards life on a farm and I want to know what it's like and what it means to live and work on a farm "at the world's other end". Furthermore I really want to get to know country and people and I love working with and around animals.

I really wanted to leave my country and see the world for as long as I can remember. The trips and hollidays I\'ve had so far were very inspiring and helped me to grow as a person. I think it\'s important to learn about other countries and cultures, so I thought about a way to get to know australia better and I decided for myself that working on a farm, with both, animals and/or kind people, would be the perfect way for me to discover this continent. So why did I join? I like the idea of helping each other and creating a bond that goes deeper than just \"employer and employee\". I also hope to get a lot of experience, as well as opportunities to exchange knowledge.

I would like to learn more sustainable garden and farming practices. I also enjoy hands-on work and am continually inspired by all the different ways people live and alternatives to industrial agriculture.

All Foods Farm is situated in Buffalo, South Gippsland , Victoria. The farm has been operating since 2004 and is run on sustainable agriculture and permaculture principles, with emphasis on organically grown, fresh produce. As sustainable property we grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, mostly as older styles and heritage varieties. With a mixed orchard of apples, pears, stone fruits and berries we supply our customers with fresh, seasonal produce that they rarely get to experience when shopping at any large scale supermarket. In the picking season for fruit we attend local Farmers markets. Our current project is establishing our shop frontage directly from the property.  We are a bit more than a hobby farm, but not quite  a commercial farm.
