We are looking for up to 2 people to help feed cattle and sheep, and a handyman that would like to do some building work such as fencing. We have 1000 acres of native vegetation, 4500 acres of grazing country for farming & bee keeping, with red undulating soil. Volunteeering on our farm includes sheep & cattle stock work, farm chores, fencing, organic gardening, milking cows, tending sheep, chickens & turkeys, pruning trees and whatever else needs doing. At the moment we have some baby lambs and calves that need to be fed and taken care of. If you are interested in learning something new and getting to know what life on an Australian Farm is like, you are more than welcome to stay with us. We love to get to know different people from other countries and are happy to teach you new skills. We hope that you will have an unforgettable and unique experience with us on our rural farm in the Australian outback. We generally prefer longer stays.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. We appreciate help, enjoy young people and having an excuse to visit the beautiful and interesting places Adelaide, the hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia have to offer with them. Due to the corona virus all our booked overseas helpers had to cancel their flight to Australia. The first time in Years we might at times be without helpers at all. Some local Australian helpers, unable to go overseas are now filling the gap which is very nice as we used to have overseas helpers only before. Please read through all the text below and only apply if you think this is for you. We live on a 2 hectare property with the young Angas River running through. We have organic gardens with fruit trees, all sorts of berries, vegetable gardens with free roaming bantams, big layer hens, a Muscovy duck, flower beds, lawns as well as two goats on paddocks and a cute house cat. 1 of our 4 kids, Katharina, is living next door with her partner. Bernward is semi retired but still runs a sustainable architecture and building consultancy business part time from offices attached to the home. Barbara works at the local hospital. We have been accommodating helpers since 2011  through various help exchange sites. If you want a break from travelling in a non judgmental  friendly  family environment and you are open and self-motivated, this is the place for you. This is not an action or party place but rather a place to relax and get creative with great light, & scenery for painting and photography, write and get back to nature. A big woodworking workshop invites creativity. I enjoy teaching woodworking skills to our helpers with the option to learn how to fit out campervans and tiny houses. A couple of times a week we heat up our Sauna and helpers are welcome to join. Help is always needed in the garden & paddock, picking berries & apples, looking after animals, weed control, making firewood, compost, cleaning up sheds & around the place, sometimes on a sustainable building site. We live 45min by car from Adelaide, 45min from safe swimming beaches & 45min from the surf, so we are pretty central. Accommodation  for 2 in separate stone cottage & own room in the main building. All share in home cooked evening meal. Mixed diet. No smokers please. Longer stays (min 3 weeks) preferred after initial few days. Please contact us via email only.

Belted Galloway cattle farm in the southern highlands. We milk these cows, too - they love to be patted. We also raise chickens for breeding and eggs, have a Permaculture veggie garden, and have just planted hazelnut trees. We are at our next stage of bushfire recovery having completed fencing and felling some trees. There are many tasks still to do even though it has rained and looks green. We need to expand the permaculture areas, constant weeding, pruning fruit trees, planting bare rooted vines and transplanting fruit trees. We also maintain a small wildlife reserve on part of the farm and look at grasses to make sure that the wombats we co-exist with have enough to eat. Volunteer tasks include feeding chickens, tending veggie garden, moving cattle to strip graze, milking cows (in non drought situations), weeding, collecting firewood, composting & worm farming. Accomodation for 2 within our home. Shared meals, all cook together. Mixed diet. Vegetarians & vegans catered for. Children b.a. No smoking on property. Initial stay 12-14 days. Longer stays negotiable.

My husband Andrew and I (Sally) live in a contemporary self-sufficient home on 11 hectares in the Clare Valley in South Australia. We have a large fruit and vegetable garden, flower beds, bees and sheep and soon-to-be chickens. We like the quirk in gardens and have many more projects in the pipeline. We also have a pizza oven on our European style terrace at the rear of our home and an elevated deck floating over the valley for pre-dinner drinks and moon and star gazing. A deep rain water bath and pebble open shower await WWOOFers at the end of the working day.

I could do with some help right now.!!I have space for people now and would really love to host some keen WWOOFers . When the borders are open, how about heading down to our special Island Home ? If there is someone interested in a long term place to live and learn about organic farming, I am open to that. There are areas of usable land that I'm not really able to keep up with, so they could be yours for growing"whatever" to make some income.  Please read section 7 of the guidelines for Wwoofers and understand it. Hi All you lovely WWOOFers. I'm especially looking for some long term people if they are around. I've been very fortunate to live in this beautiful part of Tasmania for 29 years and just love being able to share it with people from all over the world. There is 19 ha of farm to care for [some bush, pastures and extensive fruit and vegetable gardens]. Then there's millions of ha of stunning mountain and alpine wilderness to explore right behind the farm. Please come and enjoy life for a while. I prefer people to stay at least  one month and have a genuine interest in learning about sustainable farming and living.

We have not been effected by fires or floods and fortunately we have had some rain since the New Year which has made the farming outlook in this area much more positive than it was late last year. The Pines is a 1000 acre holistically managed grazing property. We run a commercial Angus breeding herd & a 1st cross Ewe flock.(sheep) We also have horses which we use to muster stock. We are very proud of our property and are constantly endeavouring to improve it and our animal's welfare. We also make an effort to include the native flora & fauna that live on our land. We are situated on the Central Tablelands of NSW 25 km from our largest town Blayney) & 5 km from the small village of Neville. We are reachable by train from Sydney (Blayney station) and are just west of the Blue Mountains for those interested in bush walking, hiking etc.

Our 20 acre farm is surrounded by bush in the Bega Valley near Cobargo. The Dec 2019/2020 fires came close, 800m away, but we were so lucky to be spared. We are experimenting with growing food that we use and give away. We had a huge crop of 6000 garlic a few years ago, this year we have 213 tomatoes! And a bunch of delicious salads, onions, pumpkins, potatoes and giant sunflowers. We need help to realise our dreams but also to maintain the ones we have started. We both work as writers and researchers and the garden is our favourite fun. To take it and many projects and ideas to the next stage, including Chicken World and planting a bunch of fruit trees, we are keen for some WWOOF friends to join us to leapfrog forward.

We have a stunning 30 acre farm 15 minutes outside of Bendigo. We are new to farming life and are keen to share our beginning learnings with others. We are starting from a clean slate with no preconceived ideas about how things must be done. At present we are regenerating native vegetation along the creek, beginning pasture rotation for horses and raising lambs. Next will be to get the property fire safe for summer. Our future plans include starting a Children’s Farm including goats, donkeys, chickens, pigs and guinea pigs. We intend to develop an orchard, vegetable garden and a small crop area where we can grow our own hay. Accommodation is in our very comfortable and clean home. We currently have one bedroom available with bunk beds and will soon have an aditional two rooms available, also with bunks. The bathroom is shared with our 14 year old son who is very respectful. You are welcome to bring your own van or tent if you would prefer, there is plenty of space. If we are booked for your preferred dates and you have your own accomodation you can bring, please get in touch as there is plenty of room for camping and caravan parking. It would be wonderful to meet new people and have helping hands while we care for our little piece of paradise. WWOOFers will need to be vaccinated and be able to show proof of vaccination.
