Hi we have a very quirky farmstay surrounded by installation art. with yurt and tipis. We are looking for a hardworking couple with some building experience. The hours are 9 to 4 with a 1 hour lunchbreak. 5 days a week. All weekends off. Duties will be to help with gardening maintenance, help build outbuildings using recycled materials. Assist with housework and general day to day duties. The type of people we are looking for will be very organised because I'm not (lol), will have very positive energy, willingness to work and a great imagination to come up with quirky achievable ideas. You will have your own accommodation in a glamp tent or tipi depending on availability, use shared bathroom in the house. With access to all amenities and 3 meals a day. You prepare your own lunch and breakfast and dinner is cooked by a world class chef. There are crazy animals and even crazier hosts. We believe if you have to work then why not do it with a dance and laugh. A day without laughter is a day wasted. We only die once so let's create good memories together! So come and leave some of your iimaginations at The Stix.

When blessed with rain we also have some beautiful fresh vegetables. We are unfortunately in drought which has made things very difficult as water is in short supply.

We were one of the farms around Cobargo that was burnt in the 2020 Blacksummer fires. We saved our home and all sheds, but lost fences, trees and grass. Since then, we have cleared up most, but our biggest challenge is weeds. Following the fires and drought, they are literally coming faster than we can remove them . We need help to keep on top of them as once we lose it, they are there for ever. If you would like to help, please call  or email. Yes, there are other things as well. You have your own room in our home, part of our family while you are here. We can Sign Off on 2nd Year Visas, please read  https://wwoof.com.au/wwoofing-2nd-year-visa-bushfire-disaster-areas-only/

3hrs from Melbourne Airport I am a retired secondary school teacher and run a small BnB business and, having moved onsite recently, I am establishing the garden and maintaining the property. I keep bees, and wish soon to increase the number of hives I have. I have hosted many Couchsurfers in my own flat, but will provide more private accommodation with the help of WWOOFers ASAP. The property is within a short distance of the Halls Gap village, and is set adjacent to the very popular Grampians National Park, famous for its mountains, wildlife and hiking and climbing. There is usually abundant opportunity for additional work in local restaurants, etc., if desired.
