We are gradually restoring a neglected farm, a beautiful 180 acres bordering NP and close to beaches. Low-tech hard work & BD preparations are slowly producing results on our pastures. Our animals are part of the family - Josephine the milking cow, a small beef herd, chooks, ducks & sometimes pigs. Our vegie garden is established, the orchard in the making. Most of our food is produced on the farm, but fishing trips supplement our diet, which is meaty, tasty & healthy. Work incl work in pastures, weeding, raking, fencing, help in vegie garden & orchard, feeding animals and building projects. Own transport preferable to take advantage of the beautiful surrounding area. Caravan accom for a single or a couple. No children. Meat-based meals. Non-smokers only. Negotiable stays after first few days. Cannot take WWOOFers during winter.

All Foods Farm is situated in Buffalo, South Gippsland , Victoria. The farm has been operating since 2004 and is run on sustainable agriculture and permaculture principles, with emphasis on organically grown, fresh produce. As sustainable property we grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, mostly as older styles and heritage varieties. With a mixed orchard of apples, pears, stone fruits and berries we supply our customers with fresh, seasonal produce that they rarely get to experience when shopping at any large scale supermarket. In the picking season for fruit we attend local Farmers markets. Our current project is establishing our shop frontage directly from the property.  We are a bit more than a hobby farm, but not quite  a commercial farm.

Enjoy the river and beach lifestyle while staying on our sustainable oyster farm on the beautiful Crookhaven River. Comprising a land base and 10 hectares of water leases, the farm is located in popular holiday destination Greenwell Point in a friendly co-op of oyster farmers. The Crookhaven River is part of the Shoalhaven estuary, an area of outstanding natural beauty on the NSW south coast, 2.5 hours south of Sydney. Work includes assistance with Aquaculture practises including the cultivation and harvest of Sydney Rock Oysters. General farm assistance includes both land based and water based work. This farm offers an exciting opportunity to work on the water in a calm river estuary with an experienced boat operator. In your spare time, you can take our kayak around the river, surf at nearby beaches or go on a hike through bushland with amazing views and wildlife. For those without their own transport we have bicycles to ride to the local shops at Greenwell Point. The nearest town, Nowra, is a 30 minute bus ride and offers a cinema, cafes/restaurants and shopping. Accomodation includes a comfortable, fully self-contained cabin for up to 2 people on site, separate to our home. Food is provided (vegetarian/vegan can be accommodated) to be heated by WWOOFers or prepared in own accommodation. The farm is accessible by train from Sydney to Bomaderry train station, where we will pick you up from the station and take you to the farm. If you are coming from Melbourne by train, we can pick you up from Moss Vale station, which is about 1.5 hours drive from the farm.

We moved in to this 100 acre property, situated between Pemberton and Northcliffe in the South West of Western Australia, at the end of last year. It is surrounded by stunning karri forrest and on the crossing of the Bibbulmun walking trail and the Munda Biddi cycling trail. I fell in love with this area whilst mountain biking the Munda Biddi and consider it the most beautiful forest area in WA, so couldn't resist the opportunity to come and live here when this property came on the market. We come from Europe, David from the UK and Annie from Belgium and we have traveled extensively and done a lot of trekking in the Himalayas,  New Zealand, France and Spain. But this country and forest is what we totally fell in love with. There are already very productive netted orchards and also many ponds and a lake for aquaculture. We have introduced bees and there are plenty of marron, the largest freshwater crayfish in the world and pretty tasty. We also have 7 cattle, 7 sheep, 6 chickens, and a couple of worm farms. Plenty of water is also a bonus in this country. We've got the veggie garden started and have plenty of carrots, zucchini, tomatoes, beans, chard, etc. Projects include: At this stage, from mid-May 2020, we want to focus on planting lots of trees, so you will be able to help create a lasting benefit for the future. You need to be fit as there will be lots of digging involved. Other ongoing projects: Constructing and maintaining permaculture gardens and orchards, picking berries and fruit. Planting native flowering plants to introduce bees, propagating and seeding vegetables. Powerful new mulcher has arrived and we will be doing plenty of compost making as well as mulching the gardens and laying new gardens around the cottages. Marron and fish ponds need netting fixed and we want to look at further possibilities for aquaculture. Chickens need to get food sources established, so they have more opportunities to browse. vermiculture - we love worm juice for our gardens. Woodworking shed is getting organised and with a good supply of machinery, upgrading the cottages is next : making steps, verandahs and then an outdoor kitchen/entertaining area, etc. Looking after guests in several cottages on the property and chopping firewood to build up the winter supply is also ongoing. In the kitchen, we love our fermenting: tasty kombucha with the berries that we have picked and frozen or collecting fresh from the orchard; kefir to use with our cereal in the morning. We bake our own buns and make bread with the bread machine.

We are on a 100 yr old Apple Orchard in the stunning Blue Mountains. We have 8000 trees and 80 different varieties of apples. We have also just started doing weddings and have one airbnb accommodation. I would explain our place as more of a boutique orchard. We are a small family run business. My husband Sam has been doing all the work himself but it's all getting a bit too much so we need some extra hands to help out. It's a stunning little spot with the iconic blue mountains escarpment views off the back of the property. Along with the apples we have 30 chickens, 2 Alpacas, 6 sheep and one Maremma dog. We are a friendly and warm family who are keen to get a helping hand.
