Short Property Description
Situated on over an acre of land, surrounded by native forest and stunning views across the hills – we feel we have found our little spot in paradise. Our Home was termed a ‘Renovators Delight’ when we bought it un June 2023 so there are many prospective projects everywhere you look (and we dream big!) – We have already put on a new roof, guttering, installed a water tank and gone completely off-grid with our stand alone solar system, planted over 100 native, rainforest, and tropical trees, created food gardens and an orchard from bare pieces of land… and …. in only a few months. Upcoming projects include: Building of a shade house, renovating the camper’s ablution block as well as lots of gardening, tidying and dismantling the back verandah. I also seek help with admin/website/social media as a part of my volunteering positions.
In exchange for 5 hrs a day, 5 days per week (would love to have help with everything from gardening to building, carpentry and painting), we share our knowledge and practices, offer 3 meals a day (plus mid-morning snacks when you are working), a bedroom with a double bed on offer or if you wish for more privacy, we have spaces to camp out with your own accommodation (van/caravan or tent) next to the (yet unfinished) ablutions block where there is power and running water available. Our house is basic, but comfortable, it is after all an ever evolving project!!
Organic/Biological methods we use
We use a multi disciplined approach, blending 40 years of experience with various regenerative principles and practices to enhance our landscape and fit in with our tropical lifestyle. These include biodynamics (including homeopathics), eco-logical, biological, syntopic and nutrition farming, and permaculture design.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We have both worked as Woofers in the past – Guy in Australia, myself (Pasha) in the UK, Guy has also been a previous WOOF host. We love to share our dreams and knowledge with others and recognise how much people can teach us too!
