54 acres, 5kms from Maldon. The property is picturesque with panoramic views, large rocky granite outcrops & a swimming hole, but very dry in summer. It adjoins the forest at the foot of Mt Tarrengower. I am in the process of regenerating large areas back to native bushland, have building projects, including finishing touches to my poured earth house and general farm work. I have clean accommodation & can adjust meals accordingly. I like showing people the many wonderful sights of the area & I enjoy cultural exchange. Can P/U in Castlemaine & Bendigo with prior notice. Maldon has a very artistic and creative community and I can play and teach the Harp.

19 ha Certified Organic farm with 4ha cleared and the rest natural bushland. Unfortunately 75% of the bushland and some pasture was burnt in the 2019 bushfire. As such we are again to be able to sign off on 2nd year Visa extension due to this disaster. Garlic was the main crop, with a fruit orchard & vegetables all in the rebuilding process. We aim to make as many foods as possible from what we grow. Vegetarian & Vegan foods are the norm as no animal meat is consumed, except by the dog. We only have sheep and a kelpie working dog that loves to play too. Other work includes crop bed building, GFM, gardening, mowing, mulching, watering, and much much more due to the bushfire disaster. The house, sheds and buildings were luckily spared by the hardworking people who assisted in saving the property! WWOOFers must be well presented with healthy habits. Accom for 1 person or couple in our guest room. Shared meals, all cook together if you like. Vegetarian / vegan diet only. Mature age WWOOFers welcome. No smoking. We moved in to this 100 acre property, situated between Pemberton and Northcliffe in the South West of Western Australia, at the end of 2018. It is surrounded by stunning karri forrest and on the crossing of the Bibbulmun walking trail and the Munda Biddi cycling trail. We have a productive home orchard and veggie gardens, as well as ponds and a lake with marron, the largest freshwater crayfish in the world and pretty tasty. We have cows, sheep, chickens, and a couple of worm farms. Also a very energetic young pomeranian dog, Rupert. Plenty of water is also a bonus in this country. In addition to our rammed earth house, there are also 4 holiday cottages on the property. Most of the time, our helpers can stay in one of the cottages if it is not during busy holiday times or long weekends. Otherwise, they stay in our house in the spare room. We have spare bikes for our helpers, so that they can go and explore this beautiful area.

Projects include:

During the winter months, David is busy planting lots of trees, so you will be able to help create a lasting benefit for the future. There are trees for fodder, shelter, fruit and some for longer term timber resource.

We are experimenting with regenerative farming and improving the soil with growing a diverse mix of grasses and making and applying compost teas to increase the subsoil life. Other ongoing projects:

Constructing and maintaining permaculture gardens and orchards, picking berries and fruit. Planting native flowering plants for the bees, propagating and seeding vegetables.

Making compost and mulching the gardens.

Woodworking projects, ranging from making greenhouse to re-fitting kitchens in the cottages.

Chopping firewood and collecting kindling.

All Foods Farm is situated in Buffalo, South Gippsland, Victoria. The farm has been operating since 2004 and is run on sustainable agriculture and permaculture principles, with emphasis on organically grown, fresh produce. As sustainable property we grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, mostly as older styles and heritage varieties. With a mixed orchard of apples, pears, stone fruits and berries we supply our customers with fresh, seasonal produce that they rarely get to experience when shopping at any large scale supermarket. In the picking season for fruit we attend local Farmers markets. Our current project is establishing our shop frontage directly from the property. We are a bit more than a hobby farm, but not quite  a commercial farm.
