We are 80kms north of Melbourne (10 kms from Romsey) on 120 acres of rolling hills, beautiful views & wildlife. We need assistance looking after our friendly cattle, vegie patch and other jobs include collecting firewood, tree planting, weeding, mulching, fencing & whatever needs doing. Must be able to work unsupervised. Accommodation is in 2 bedrooms (with own bathroom & toilet). All linen, pillows & doonas supplied. No children. Mixed diet, including meat. NON-SMOKERS only. Min stay 3 days, negotiable after first few days. Must give WWOOF ID & contact phone number on first contact. I have a beautiful property in the Noosa Hinterland. It is 10 acres. 4 acres are cleared and 6 acres are rainforest with a beautiful track and yoga deck in the forest. I struggle to keep up with keeping the track looking beautiful and clear and mulching etc. I am passionate about organic farming and learning about permaculture, biodynamic practices also so keen to learn more and develop my skills. We live 45 km from Perth, 20mn walking distance from the Chidlow Post Office,the bus stop, forests & lake Leschenaultia. In the last 20 + years, we have  developed our hobby farm: built a solar-passive straw-bale home, established an extensive garden  as well as grown three children, home-schooled with the help of WWOOFers!!! They are now young adults, two of which still live at home. With our daughters, we grow vegetables, flowers, herbs & fruit trees. We have 3 cows and a calf, 6 goats, 2 sheep, lots of chickens, an old pony, 4 bee hives & lots of visiting birds. Work includes general hobby-farming activities such as gardening, and maintenance jobs, with occasionally some more skillful work such as rock wall building, shelter building or else, checking bees/ extracting honey etc... Accommodation is in annex for 1 – 2 non-smoking WWOOFers. We cook only vegetarian meals, mostly organic, shared with the family, although we can accommodate vegan and gluten free diets. We also speak French at home, we love playing traditional folk music, classical or old 60's songs, singing, bush-walking, we're also interested in art & craft, travel, health, spirituality and philosophy, fun, and good food. Most hot days, we'll end at the lake for a cool down swim!

We have a beautiful 40 acre horse agistment property, veggie garden & fruit trees and approx. 5 acres bush. 3 min drive to surf beach, bay beach & Inverloch town or 10 min drive to Wonthaggi, a larger town. Push bikes available. We are very interested in living a sustainable lifestyle and hope that our WWOOFers are also interested in living sustainably and learning, and sharing knowledge of this. There are almost always wallabies at our farm and if you are lucky you may see kangaroos, echidnas, wombats & occasional koalas. Volunteering may include harvesting, food collection, composting, mulching, hay carting, weeding, fencing, planting, food preservation.  Sometimes there is some work caring for horses: often all the work is in the garden and paddock maintenance, as the horses are mainly looked after by their owners. Accommodation for up to 3 in our home, although we usually prefer 2. Shared meals, cook together. We eat a healthy, sustainable diet.  Bron is vegan and while Ray eats most foods, many meals are vegan or vegetarian.  Vegetarians & vegans catered for.  No children, no smoking, all stays negotiable on application. Our property "Lana" is 22kms west of Uralla ’ - 8500 acres (3400 hectares) producing beef cattle & sheep & superfine wool. Farming with nature, managed holistically. we are regenerative, biological farmers - aiming to produce chemical-free livestock & wool. Farm activities are dependent on the season & motorbikes & other vehicles are used. There are also garden tasks all year. Accommodation in separate self contained living area. Occasional meals with the us. We have 6 adult children who live away from home.

Jindabyne is the dormitory town for the Snowy Mountains ski fields. We are only 5 mins from the centre of town with a fabulous view looking across Lake Jindabyne to the snow covered mountains. The gallery is situated on 5 acres & help is needed for ground maintenance, gardens & an organic veggie garden. Walk to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko, a must in summer, ski in winter (some equipment available). Mountain biking, horse riding & swimming. Sailing, windsurfing & bicycling around the lake in summer. 54 acres, 5kms from Maldon. The property is picturesque with panoramic views, large rocky granite outcrops & a swimming hole, but very dry in summer. It adjoins the forest at the foot of Mt Tarrengower. I am in the process of regenerating large areas back to native bushland, have building projects, including finishing touches to my poured earth house and general farm work. I have clean accommodation & can adjust meals accordingly. I like showing people the many wonderful sights of the area & I enjoy cultural exchange. Can P/U in Castlemaine & Bendigo with prior notice. Maldon has a very artistic and creative community and I can play and teach the Harp.

Here it is natural farming methods of producing beef,fruit and vegetables .There are large veggie gardens and an  extensive fruit orchard with a big variety of fruit trees that bear during the season-The working dogs  require years of training, there is minimal reliance on machinery but a wood splitter machine has been a boon to getting the wood supply done, the splitter  minimises the amount of hard work. Chooks also help supply plenty of eggs when they are laying.You need to have suitable outdoor all-weather clothing-gloves/coat/sturdy boots/hat/safety glasses etc,The  capacity to be independent with transport is good for  local sight  seeing that can include koalas,lyrebirds,river walks,lakes,ocean,& mountains with winter snow.

Helm’s Deep is a terraced suburban block overlooking the Gippsland Lakes. We are renovating our home and garden to be more energy-efficient and sustainable. We are learning and incorporating permaculture principles as we gain more knowledge. The focus this year is food forests, berry growing, and beekeeping. We are also creating shaded outdoor living areas. We share our life with two Border Collies. We also have chickens. Our garden leads to a walking track along the lake and the township is a very easy 20 minute walk.

We have 300 acres at Tully, Nth Queensland in the wet tropics with breathtaking views. On the farm, we run 250 cattle, 40 sheep, 3 horses, 10 pigs, 4 working border collie dogs. We also have small crops, green pawpaws, citrus pomelos in total 4000 trees, and 2 hothouses where we graft & propagate the seedlings. On our days off we go up the Gorges swimming exploring. We spend a lot of time down the beach. I have 8.3 meter nooblesuper V boat. Where we go to the reef snorkeling & fishing or just cruising around the Hinchinbrook & Dunk islands. Here on our farm we have Australian Native Finger Limes. This citrus variety is quite rare and we have some that are on the endangered and protected list. Our property is very close to the World Heritage National Park. There are crystal clear mountain streams nearby for swimming. We have a huge diversity of native animals on and around the property. Including, Wallabies (small Kangaroos) Platypus, Turtles, Cassowary and Echidnas to name a few. We also are a pedigree dog breeding business and have Miniature Schnauzers, French Bulldogs and English Bulldogs. We have puppies pretty much all year. We also have cattle. We have our 3 children living with us at home. Accommodation is a large private shed with its own bathroom, toilet and laundry. We also have Wi-Fi available to use and mobile reception is very good. Work on the farm will include care and maintenance of fruit trees, house duties and animal care. Including building, painting, dog feeding, tree mulching and weeding etc.

Sorry WWOOFers must be vaccinated   Treefarm is on 60 ha in rainforest environment with 3 streams and 18m waterfall, surrounded by wilderness, 20 kms from Tully. I have been a WWOOF host since 1989 and have had close to 600 WWOOFers over the years! 4 ha partly commercial orchard, partly collection of irrigated exotic fruits of more than 100 species from South America and Borneo I need help clearing, planting, harvesting, weeding and building. Opportunity to taste many exotic fruits & vegetables, especially in summer. Much wildlife, incl cassowaries & 124 bird species. Natural swimming pools in rainforest around house. Good rainforest walks and interpretation available, Mission Beach 16 kms away. Host has substantial library and is a trained ESL Teacher. He is an expert on new tropical fruits and vegetables and produces and edits Australian Rare Fruit Review, a journal on this topic. No Smoking Indoors. We are a young couple in our late 50s. We live in a peaceful scenic setting surrounded by forest & incredible wildlife. Great swimming, mountain bikes & bushwalks available. Our house is solar powered & passive. We are a commercial Certified Bio-dynamic farm, growing vegetables & beef. Tasks include vegetable harvesting, working with cattle, firewood collection, etc. We make all our own B-d preparations &  compost heaps. We have a young man who also lives here who is market gardening on the property using BD methods, no dig, and runs hothouses in conjunction with outdoor seasonal cropping. A great resource for information and of intensive growing experiences. He can always use assistance too! Our three grown children are often staying with us at the farm as they develop their own businesses and homes here. Accommodation for 1-3 in nearby cabin or simple cabin by the dam. Mixed diet to suit. Meals varied, vegetarian & meat eating, please no vegans or fruitarians. WWOOFers may assist with meal prep. Easy to reach by bus from Perth to Donnybrook. We will pick up.
