Why I became a WWOOF Host
Cowsnest has been welcoming WWOOFers for over 30 years. We became hosts because we believe in sharing the land, working together, and caring for nature, offering visitors a hands-on experience of life on a sustainable, community-focused farm.
Organic/Biological methods we use
For over 45 years, no chemicals have ever been used at Cowsnest. Over time we’ve explored different approaches to gardening and farming, with strong roots in Biodynamics. Today we follow a more natural, adaptive style inspired by Masanobu Fukuoka’s One Straw Revolution, focusing on working with nature rather than controlling it.
