Why I became a WWOOF Host

To connect people to their food sources, to educate about food practices and supply chains, marketing, to broaden peoples understanding of the effects humans have on the environment and the needs of humans for food.

Highlight the excessive consumption of commodities and the wastage of humans with their buying habits, their energy and water usage and also to show the inter-connectiveness that being self sufficient is a compromise to most people at the out set. Own transport is good.
