Short Property Description
We are an eco-village co-housing community of 12 homes establishing in the centre of the town of Denmark in southwest Australia. We are landscaping the 6000m2 site into kitchen gardens, vege patches, a netted orchard and chicken coop.
Accommodation in the Common House will be available. DecoHousing project has delivered a co-housing eco-village intended to set a benchmark for medium density housing and community living within a regional township.
As best as we know, this is the first intentional eco-village built within a conventional rural town, certainly in Australia. Bicycles and free wifi available.
Organic/Biological methods we use
Whereever possible, we practice organic gardening and sustaibnable practices with composting, waste management, rainwater and own power system.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We joined as a community to give an opportunity to inspire like minded souls around living sustainably on a small footprint in a rural town. We also love to hear the perspectives and passions from travellers committed to an organic, regenerative life.
