Large backyard garden. I have fruit trees, vegie beds, bee hive and chooks. My house is in walking distance to shopping centre, bus, leisure centre and library. I have some internet access, and bedroom has shower and basin attached. I volunteer in the Grovedale Community Garden(it has a facebook page); in the Grovedale Community Orchard(also has a facebook page); and buy and help with the Grovedale Veggie Box which supplies me with fresh, organic vegetables(also facebook page). From all these places I learn more about how to sustainably garden and look after my chickens.

1200 square m block in Perth, Tasmania. Established fruit trees. Some herbs and flowers. This land was a paddock with a few sheep on it when I moved here ten years ago. I have slowly been establishing a garden/ orchard over that time. No herbicides or pesticides have been used. My chooks, worm farm and compost heaps provide nutrients. I have a one bedroom unit in the back yard. You can check this out on AIRBNB as "Amino"s Garden Retreat" on the site. This is not a farm. It is in a small town(Perth), 17km south of Launceston. There is a regular bus service to Launceston and Hobart. 10 minute drive to Launceston Airport. This is an ideal place to stay while you are planning your next move. It is located centrally in Tassie... 2 hour drive to either Hobart, Cradle Mt, Freycinet or Lake St Claire. One hour to Liffey Falls, Narawntapu or Ben Lomond . Work will include general gardening with some landscaping and establishing new garden beds. I love cooking and meeting people. I am a part time high school teacher and have worked with Tas Parks and Wildlife. I look forward to meeting you, hearing your stories and sharing my local knowledge.

City/Town: Halls Gap
Farming Methods: Organic
Accommodation Type: In Our Home, Separate Building
3hrs from Melbourne Airport I am a retired secondary school teacher and run a small BnB business and, having moved onsite recently, I am establishing the garden and maintaining the property. I keep bees, and wish soon to increase the number of hives I have. I have hosted many Couchsurfers in my own flat, but will provide more private accommodation with the help of WWOOFers ASAP. The property is within a short distance of the Halls Gap village, and is set adjacent to the very popular Grampians National Park, famous for its mountains, wildlife and hiking and climbing. There is usually abundant opportunity for additional work in local restaurants, etc., if desired.

City/Town: Russell Island
Farming Methods: Permaculture
Accommodation Type: In Our Home
Help us to help others. I have a functional neurological disorder that impacts on my daily life with movement, day to day living, speech sometimes, chronic fatigue. Wanting to start a support group for others that are similar. We would like to set up a food forest and sensory garden right here on Russell Island. Woofers help us to maintain the property and to build and maintain fruit trees, raised garden beds, hugelkultur garden, lasagna-method garden beds for a wide range of fruit and vegetables grown in an organic way. Wayne and I are an outgoing couple that like to meet new people and learn from all cultures. We are both chefs by trade but have moved onto the island for a quiet sense of life. We both like to get into arts and crafts. We are both originally from New Zealand and have been living in Australia for ten years. Graeme likes to go fishing and all things outdoors even though he's got this disability, he doesn't let that limit his life. Wayne likes to get into music and he's more the indoor type. We're pretty easy going people and like to learn new things. At the moment we're building our house and living in a tiny home at the back. We don't mind couples Building experience and gardening experience is preferable but not exactly needed. You must be friendly, outgoing, willing to work five hours a morning in exchange for room and board. Please let us know if there is anything you'd like to know about our little island.

We live on a large block on the edge of a small village in the Sunshine Coast area. We have a large organic vegetable garden with fruit trees so we love having help with gardening, and sometimes adventures with landscaping as well, Des is longing to make a bush path and that depends on the WWOOFers skills and interests. During Coronavirus you will have your own kitchen so work hours and costs will be worked out by negotiation. however WWOOFers usually work about 5 hours per day 5 days per week under "normal" circumstances. YOu will need to respect the travel bans etc. Even though we live in the bush we are walking distance from the coffee shop and the IGA general store.   We look forward to hearing from you, Jane and Des
