Short Property Description
Welcome to our beautiful small acreage property in the fertile northern rivers in New South Wales. We have 14 acres of natural beauty which includes Koala food trees, regenerated rainforest, tropical fruit trees and vegetable gardens. We grow produce for ourselves and to share with our neighbours and friends. We don’t sell any of our produce. We enjoy growing citrus, black and white sapotes, paw paw, passionfruit, Davidson plums, lemon myrtle, aniseed myrtle, figs, dragon fruit, macadamias, pecans, mulberries, Jaboticaba, bay tree, chilis and seasonal vegetables. We love our free-ranging chickens and enjoy spotting koalas, goannas and many beautiful bird species. We are a busy family with 3 young children, two working professionals and our Au Pair. We live 3km from the beautiful beach and a short drive to many interesting daytrips including beaches, rainforest and waterfalls.
Organic/Biological methods we use
We use an organic, no-dig approach to vegetable and fruit growing for personal consumption and for sharing with friends and local restaurants.
