We have not been effected by fires or floods and fortunately we have had some rain since the New Year which has made the farming outlook in this area much more positive than it was late last year. The Pines is a 1000 acre holistically managed grazing property. We run a commercial Angus breeding herd & a 1st cross Ewe flock.(sheep) We also have horses which we use to muster stock. We are very proud of our property and are constantly endeavouring to improve it and our animal's welfare. We also make an effort to include the native flora & fauna that live on our land. We are situated on the Central Tablelands of NSW 25 km from our largest town Blayney) & 5 km from the small village of Neville. We are reachable by train from Sydney (Blayney station) and are just west of the Blue Mountains for those interested in bush walking, hiking etc.

54 acres, 5kms from Maldon. The property is picturesque with panoramic views, large rocky granite outcrops & a swimming hole, but very dry in summer. It adjoins the forest at the foot of Mt Tarrengower. I am in the process of regenerating large areas back to native bushland, have building projects, including finishing touches to my poured earth house and general farm work. I have clean accommodation & can adjust meals accordingly. I like showing people the many wonderful sights of the area & I enjoy cultural exchange. Can P/U in Castlemaine & Bendigo with prior notice. Maldon has a very artistic and creative community and I can play and teach the Harp.

A certified biodynamic, organic working beef farm owned by Shane, a regenerative farmer with decades of experience. We are currently implementing Syntropic agroforestry for growing marketable vegetables & livestock. We are working with Syntropic Solutions to establish 10 hectares of syntropic rows that will grow vegetables, pigs, beef and chickens. This is a time of learning for all involved, and an excellent time for the merging of knowledge and experience. Kumbartcho is also home to on farm businesses, currently we have a plant nursery and a tiny house factory.
