Large backyard garden. I have fruit trees, vegie beds, bee hive and chooks. My house is in walking distance to shopping centre, bus, leisure centre and library. I have some internet access, and bedroom has shower and basin attached. I volunteer in the Grovedale Community Garden (it has a Facebook page); in the Grovedale Community Orchard (also has a Facebook page); and buy and help with the Grovedale Veggie Box which supplies me with fresh, organic vegetables (also Facebook page). From all these places I learn more about how to sustainably garden and look after my chickens.

Just off the escarpment we have a beautiful farm with views towards the nearby hills and farms. We have some animals, cattle, goats and chickens as well as a variety of fruit trees. When blessed with rain we also have some beautiful fresh vegetables. We are unfortunately in drought which has made things very difficult as water is in short supply.

Heritage Farm is 20 acres in size and located near Mornington on the Mornington Peninsula - just 50 minutes from Melbourne. We primarily produce organic duck and chook eggs for local restaurants and our community and we're now producing more organic vegetables from our rapidly expanding market garden. You'll also find sheep, alpacas and geese at our farm. We're 10 minutes from the beach, 15 minutes from wineries and there are heaps of local attractions. WWOOFers have separate accommodation including their own kitchen, bathroom and space 🙂

54 acres, 5kms from Maldon. The property is picturesque with panoramic views, large rocky granite outcrops & a swimming hole, but very dry in summer. It adjoins the forest at the foot of Mt Tarrengower. I am in the process of regenerating large areas back to native bushland, have building projects, including finishing touches to my poured earth house and general farm work. I have clean accommodation & can adjust meals accordingly. I like showing people the many wonderful sights of the area & I enjoy cultural exchange. Can P/U in Castlemaine & Bendigo with prior notice. The Berry Street farm is a 35-acre property, located on the western edge of the Blue Mountains in NSW. It has 6 acres of farmland which was originally part of a dairy Co-op, established in the early 1900s. The property also has about 30 acres of bushland including two sandstone pagodas which provides expansive views around the countryside. We regularly have visits from native wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and a broad range of native birds. We are currently establishing an organic vegetable and flower production system. I have 30 years experience in environmental restoration programs, including the use of rain gardens, passive irrigation systems, creek line and wetland rehabilitation and have an interest in regenerative agriculture. We think you will enjoy your visit to our farm.

I know someone who is into bio-dynamic organic farming & he's going to help me with  this new project. We are going to design & then execute a master plan for the property so it is as self- reliant as possible, we will also be using knowledge from Peter Andrews about how to turn the usually dry seasonal creek bed into a permanent year round water source, we will be doing swales & contouring of the land to slow down the water flow & to hopefully give it year round hydration that won't require hardly any extra irrigation. I already had an organic vege garden in town which was great, but the idea is to expand on that. There is a lake just next door (3-5 min drive and you are at the water’s edge), Mount Glorious Rd is also just 3 minutes away which is also a beautiful area to explore.

We are only around two and a half hours north of Melbourne driving up the Hume Highway. Turning of in Euroa, and then driving up to the Tablelands of the Strathbogie Ranges. Our property is located around 28km from Euroa and 6km for Strathbogie General Store, which is always a good place to get a coffee and pick up your mail. We, Karin & Kevin, Bruno & Regina (Friends) took over the Property a bit more than two years ago, and it has be an amazing learning curve. Our property is a working vineyard and a permaculture Food garden is at the moment a work in progress. New plans are prepared by one of our fantastic friend to expand the food production. Looking after the vineyard is the focus to create amazing grape which our winemaker turns into exquisite wine. We created a secure sanctuary for the Chooks, Guinea Fowls, Quails, and a Vegetable Garden with fruit trees. A few months ago we added 6 Alpacas Weathers (Floyd, Cosmo, Omar, Merlin, and Heston & Jo-EL) to our ever expanding livestock collection. They are so inquisitive roaming around the house paddock. One of our Helpers has two beautiful dogs Molly and Dusty, black Kelpies guarding the property for us. Native wildlife is found everywhere on the property, from Mark Junior the resident Koala, wombats , echidna, Kangaroo, Black Wallabies, Deer, snakes, and native Birds.
