    Short Property Description

Welcome to our beautiful small acreage property in the fertile northern rivers in New South Wales. Looking for help with mowing and whipper snipping.
We have 14 acres of natural beauty which includes Koala food trees, regenerated rainforest, tropical fruit trees and vegetable gardens. We grow produce for ourselves and to share with our neighbours and friends. We don’t sell any of our produce.  We enjoy growing citrus, black and white sapotes, paw paw, passionfruit, Davidson plums, lemon myrtle, aniseed myrtle, figs, dragon fruit, macadamias, Jaboticaba, bay tree, chilis. We enjoy spotting koalas, goannas and many beautiful bird species. We are a busy family with 3 young children & two working professionals. We live 3km from the beautiful beach and a short drive to many interesting daytrips including beaches, rainforest and waterfalls.
Thank you for volunteering. We really appreciate your help. the area is very fertile and so we are very grateful for the help to manage the land but also believe we have a beautiful area and experience to share with you.

    Organic/Biological methods we use

We aim to use an organic approach to vegetable and fruit growing for personal consumption and for sharing with friends.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We love to host WWOOFers to share our beautiful property and this special part of the world. We love sharing our space with people who truly love the natural environment. We are very grateful for your help because we have many tasks to maintain our property, to help keep it in good condition for the native animals, nourish the earth and to try to improve our self-sufficiency and bring our property to its full potential.

Skills we will particularly find helpful (please let us know when you message us if you are independent with these skills): mowing, whipper snipping, chainsawing, building, painting, sanding & varnishing, pruning, experience with caring for citrus / caring for tropical fruit trees.
