    Short Property Description

Hey there, our farm is on over 100 beautiful acres at the base of famous Hanging Rock and in the heart of the Macedon Ranges best tourist attractions. We live as sustainable and off grid as possible growing our own fruit and veges, farming cattle and raising calf’s, training and breeding horses.  We also board and train dogs and host campers on the farm amongst many other activities. We enjoy being great hosts, meeting new people and sharing our life with them  So if looking for something interesting JimJimflat is the place.

    Organic/Biological methods we use

We farm using organic and biodynamic methods. We are in the process of qualifying to apply for organic in-conversion status.
Our farm has had its rich red loam soils tested and we can confirm that there were no herbicides or pesticides found.
We use mainly no-till methods of cultivation,  and use managed grazing, pigs, chickens, cows and horses to cultivate and maintain our land.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

For assistance on my farm and to share my skills. Assisting tourists on their travels. Becoming friends with them. I’ve done this two years ago but when Covid hit I opted out. Now I’m ready to start again.
