Short Property Description
We are a 12 acre regenerative farm in the foothills of the Otways, only 15 minutes from the picturesque seaside town of Lorne. We have goats, chickens and horses and we grow organic vegetables. We are working to regenerate the land using permaculture principles.
Organic/Biological methods we use
Since taking over the property, we have a staged approach to regenerating the land. This includes:
-holistic planning which encompasses natural systems, seasons, geography, topography and micro climates of our local area
-removal of weeds, using spray free methods including stock rotations, physical removal of coastal wattle and blackberries and natural weed suppressants
-revegetation projects to increase biodiversity and habitat for natural fauna
-introducing edible spaces to our property

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We love the idea or sharing knowledge and experiences. We would like to share our property and our knowledge of regenerative agriculture and we would like to learn from whoever we host about their life experiences.
We have 2 small children and we like to involve them in the running of the property and we’d like them to learn from other people as well. We’d also love help to grow more vegetables and plant more trees.
