Short Property Description
We are located high up in the rainforest mountains of the Atherton tablelands. Here on this beautiful land we grow a wide diversity of unique exotic fruits and vegetables using natural, organic and syntropic farming principles. We regenerate degraded pastures into thriving food forests, complete with a wide range of rare and exotic tropical fruit trees. We are very passionate about the work we do and strive to work with natural principles to produce the highest quality food whilst enhancing soil life and the surrounding environment.
we are three generations of family living on this land and welcome visitors to come and stay with us. We offer wwoofers and inspiring, rich and educational experience. You can stay with us in a beautiful big stone house surrounded by pristine mountain rainforests. We are very friendly and enjoying meeting travellers from all around the world and sharing with them our home and philosophy’s on life.

Organic/Biological methods we use
We use a variety of natural farming techniques. Primarily permaculture design for the layout and design of our farm as well as syntropic agroforestry for setting up diverse food forest.
I have many years experience with permaculture and have completed a PDC, permaculture design is very central to the operation of our farm.
Syntropics is another farming approach that we really embrace here and is a concept I am extremely passionate about. I have set up many food forests in the past and have completed a 10 week course on a syntropic farm.
we are also organic, practice composting and building beneficial soil microbes through a variety of regenerative techniques.
we wholeheartedly believe in the power of regenerative agriculture to benefit the planet, farmers and the people eating the food. We are very happy to share all that we know with wwoofers who come to stay with us here.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I love to work with other people and could definitely use help on the farm. I like to offer others and educational experience and spread the seeds of natural farming.
