Short Property Description
We are in the early stages of building our Urban Coastal Homestead. Based on Permaculture principles, we are designing an Urban landscape that allows us to raise our kids in a community enriched environment where they can learn to become waste free, climate resilient and leaders in sustainable living. We are continually adding to our edible garden, and learning to grow fruit and vegetables for food swap, community cook ups, and sale. We also have chickens and trying to get a biogas digester up and running (more for the educational value).
We live only a short walk to the beach, in a beautiful part of the world – our beaches are quiet, clean and stunning.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I have done a lot of travel in my life and lived / worked in many different parts of the world. I really miss living a life of cultural diversity and believe my kids would really benefit from bringing the world to them. I believe one of the largest factors to creating a climate resilient world is community – and that starts in the home 🙂 I believe in sharing knowledge and working together for the common good
