Short Property Description

A lifestyle block of about one hectare in the town of Bundanoon in the Southern Highlands with a large garden and a basalt forest at the back of the property linking up with Moreton National Park. We have citrus trees and a small organic vegetable garden. Most of the work is gardening, path building, mulching, weeding, native bush regeneration after the bushfires of 2020 and creating boxes to encourage gliders and birds back into the forest. We offer accommodation in our house for up to 2 people (2 bedrooms available) with an ensuite bathroom and shared meals.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We use pesticide-free organic gardening methods, and weeds are pulled out by hand in the native forest at the back of the property

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We would appreciate the extra help on our property and enjoy having guests. We are proud of where we live – it is so peaceful and tranquil, and a healing place surrounded by nature, particularly with the forest on our property and National Park nearby. As we are within walking distance of the village, we are connected to facilities and local coffee shops and events in the town.
