Why I became a WWOOF Host

We are now living in Wadeville which is a pretty large area but with a small community. WWOOF-ing could enable us to reach out to a wider community of younger generation who could be interested in sharing with us their knowledge of either organic farming or perma-culture for us to trial. We are in our 70s and definitely would be a plus to have some young and strong friends to help out in our yards, our homes and to share some family time.
We also like to take this opportunity to provide for WWOOFs-travellers a safe and comfy home-environment, tapping into their cultural background without the need to travel the world ourselves. We have had WWOOFERS since 1998 to 2004 with lots of Japanese and Korean youngsters as well as travellers from EU, UK and USA and Australians. The experience we had was extremely joyous, and memorable. Now in our 70s, we wish to HOST again, to make some more new friends and new memories.
