At The Warriors Garden, we believe in the balance of strength and peace, which is reflected in Toby’s role as the owner of WildDog MMA gym in Nimbin. Join us for a fulfilling stay where you can contribute to our farm’s growth and immerse yourself in a welcoming environment. We look forward to sharing this enriching adventure with you at The Warriors Garden.

Organic/Biological methods we use

Our poly tunnel is designed for optimal herb cultivation using advanced organic growing methods. Within the tunnel, we employ a variety of techniques to ensure the health and vitality of our herb plants.

One key method we utilize is companion planting, where herbs are strategically placed next to each other to enhance growth and deter pests naturally. This practice not only maximizes space within the tunnel but also promotes biodiversity and overall plant health.

We also practice crop rotation to prevent soil depletion and maintain balanced nutrients levels. By rotating herb varieties throughout the beds, we minimize the risk of disease and promote long-term soil fertility.

Visitors to our poly tunnel have the opportunity to learn valuable skills in organic herb cultivation, including seed starting, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting. Our knowledgeable team is on hand to provide guidance on proper planting techniques, watering schedules, and pest management strategies.

Additionally, guests can gain hands-on experience in soil testing and amendment, learning how to create a nutrient-rich growing medium that supports healthy herb growth. By participating in the daily care and maintenance of our herb plants, visitors can develop a deeper understanding of sustainable agriculture practices and the importance of organic farming methods.

Overall, our poly tunnel serves as a hub for education and innovation in organic herb growing, offering a wealth of opportunities for visitors to expand their skills and knowledge in the field of sustainable agriculture.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

Hey there! We’re a fun-loving bunch with a passion for bow hunting, art, martial arts, and making music, and we’re looking for some extra hands to help out around our quirky home. Our place is a little out of the ordinary—it’s got gardens that need tending and tons of cool projects that we’re always working on, not to mention our lively kids who are a big part of the scene.

If you’re into getting your hands dirty in the garden and you’ve got a creative streak, you’ll fit right in. We’d love to have you join us in turning our property into a real-life work of art. Whether you’re strumming a guitar, practicing your martial arts moves, or helping us aim true in bow hunting, there’s always something interesting going on here.

We’re all about sharing skills and learning from each other. You can help us with the practical stuff like fixing up the house or making our garden grow, and we’ll share with you all the cool stuff we’re into. It’s a give-and-take that’s all about good vibes and making the most of our unique space.

So if you’re up for an adventure and excited to pitch in with a quirky family that loves the outdoors and the arts, come on over! You’ll get to explore your creative side, spend time outdoors, and be part of a community that values fun, family, and getting things done together. Can’t wait to meet you and make some awesome memories!
