Short Property Description
43 acres on beautiful Hastings Bay, 1.5 hours south of Hobart. Approx 37 acres in natural bushland bordering national forest. Timber & stone dwellings operate on solar power. Multi-fueled hot-water systems, biofuel systems, & creative PV system etc.
Medium-scale organic orchard & garden. Numerous water activities are available. 10 mins to Lune River estuary, Hastings Caves, thermal pool & rainforest. The property is close to forests, walking tracks, coastal beaches & mountain walks.
Volunteering includes help with gardening, building, land management, wood collecting, fencing, goats, chickens, electrical, mechanical, metal & timber workshop activities if suitable.
Accommodation for 2 in cozy self-contained cabin. Children b.a. Mixed meals. No smoking inside. Can p/u from bus in Dover. Prefer min 7 day stay.
