Short Property Description
Lifestyle permaculture property on 40 acres with Brodribb River frontage. Comfortable, private dwellings, large shed/workshop, large netted vegetable garden, chickens, hothouse, fruit trees, dams to swim in, abundance of wildlife and native birds. Have 1km river frontage to explore. No pets unless agreed.
Organic/Biological methods we use
This is primarily a lifestyle property with a permaculture focus. There is a large, netted organic vege garden, hothouse and chook pen/orchard. With more hands we can grow more healthy food and work on building projects and other homesteader tasks.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
Getting older and require some help in maintaining the property (mostly gardening) and other odd jobs that require another pair of hands. I have a friend, Greg, living in another dwelling on the property, but he looks after his garden. He’s a very good gardener, excellent cook and experienced rural homesteader and quite the character!
My Loft is primarily used for guest accommodation, but is usually empty so to have folk here who can follow instructions and work autonomously suits me. It’s also a great artists retreat, and I am open to negotiating the types of stays here. There are many jobs where another pair of hands is required (building projects etc), and other jobs like weeding and maintaining the food garden where more hands make lighter, more enjoyable work. There’s lots of space here, and plenty to do to keep one occupied. It’s also a great place to relax, and it would be good having like minded folk around enjoying the property.
