Short Property Description
We have come out of early retirement to start up our Boutique Potted Christmas tree farm on small lakeside acreage on the beautiful Atherton Tableland near Cairns in Far North Queensland. Lake Tinaroo is recognised as a world class fishery for large stocked Barramundi fish and social water sports. The Tableland area has a showcase of scenic waterfalls, locally grown produce, restaurants and interesting must see villages. Its Avocado and other tropical fruits and vege farms provide plenty of casual work in season. We have a detached shed with couples accommodation including kitchen and bathroom as well as a singles caravan and or second room in the residence. Transport would be an advantage.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
The ability to share our knowledge, lifestyle, and beautiful surroundings and learn from others who have and enjoy similar work ethics. We are now 12 months into the business however most of the infrastructure is in place and we’re are now concentrating on growing our stock levels. Any assistance and advice at this stage would be greatly appreciated.
