I'm keen to get my hands dirty, laugh and learn; meeting like minded people and support local whilst on my travels. I'm a hard worker and can turn my hand to most jobs around the farm and learn as much as I can about different people and ways of life.

Since I have had a great time as wwoofer in Australia, one of my dreams is becoming a wwoof host. To make my dream come true, I would love to learn organic life and feel natural atmosphere from wwoof hosts.

I love Australia and would like to stay for another year by obtaining my Second Working Holiday Visa. While I could do regular fruit picking, I thought it would be more meaningful to help with a family’s work and contribute to the community in a different way. Through WWOOF, I hope to gain unique experiences, learn new skills, and support hosts while making a positive impact.

I am very interested in learning about how our food is grown, I love to meet new people, and living in a new place for a little bit is exciting and full of opportunities! I would love to take the knowledge and wisdom that the hosts have to offer and apply it to my own farm/homestead in the future where there will hopefully be lots of animals and lots of veggie patches 🙂

A friend recommended WWOOF to me a while ago, and now that I'm coming to Australia, I believe volunteering is a great way to connect with local culture and learn more about farm life. It also feels like a nice first step toward the farm work I'll need to do for my second-year visa.

I would like to join WOOF Australia to enjoy a rewarding human experience based on exchange, learning and discovery. This adventure represents an opportunity for me to step outside my comfort zone, actively contribute to local projects, and develop practical and interpersonal skills in a completely different environment. It is a way to combine travel, work and sharing, while remaining true to my values of commitment, curiosity and open-mindedness.

I joined WWOOFing because I’m excited to learn as much as possible while exploring Australia in a meaningful and authentic way. I really enjoy working outdoors, especially with plants, and WWOOFing gives me the chance to gain hands-on experience directly from people who live and work on the land. I also appreciate the idea of cultural exchange and connecting with hosts who are passionate about what they do. For me, it’s not just about travelling—it’s about contributing, learning new skills, meeting inspiring people, and being part of something positive. WWOOFing feels like the perfect way to grow, help others, and discover new ways of living, all while sharing good moments along the way

I joined WWOOF to deepen my skills in sustainable farming and to contribute meaningfully to hands-on projects. I already have experience in this field and want to keep improving by discovering new ways of working and living close to nature. It’s also a great opportunity for me to improve my English, meet inspiring people, and share what I know. For me, WWOOFing is about being useful, learning from others, and living simply with purpose

Day's Walk Farm is located just 22km from the Melbourne CBD and a short trip from Melbourne International Airport - it is a real Certified Organic suburban farm - though it's tucked away in a quieter part of the valley, where a cool river runs lined with red gums. We grow mixed certified organic vegetables. We're also establishing a small apricot orchard. We have been at this farm since March 2015 and farming is one step at a time - a lot of work! So I could do with a hand. This is a great place for someone who enjoys working outside and cooking with a range of fresh farm produce. Work includes planting seedlings, weeding, whipper snipping, propagating, picking, some building projects and market garden work. We're a commercial farm. Accommodation is quite basic on the farm, in an old shed converted into an apartment or a cosy caravan. We use a bush bucket shower and compost toilet. The bus stop is a short walk up the hill, and using the bus and the train you can connect with Melbourne independently on your days off. The internet is accessible via satelite and hotspot for emails. I ask volunteers to work five days, taking two off. Work stops at lunch time, so the afternoons are free. However, there are also lots of books to read during your down-time, under the trees by the river. We recently bought a few board games too and we're currently installing a shed cinema and ceiling suspended day bed. I regularly get on the mat to do some yoga. Market garden work is quite physical so these activities help to balance life here. Shared meals and cooking using fresh produce from the market garden, mixed diet. No children. No smoking inside. Initial stay 2 weeks, longer stays negotiable. Cannot take WWOOFers in the middle of winter. If you aspire to be a farmer then this is good place to check out. Note that we run internships too, for those seeking a structured learning experience for a longer period of time. Find more information on our website: dayswalkfarm.com.au Staying at Day's Walk Farm is certainly an adventure, not a picnic! Thanks ! ! ! We are situated at the base of the Tomowin Mountain Range that divides Queensland and NSW. We are close to Mt Cougal National Park, where meandering natural rock pools wind through the tranquil rainforest. We are also close to Currumbin beach. Although we are in the rural sector , our property is a compact average suburban block of ground. Still we have a good variety of organic tropical fruit and citrus trees, and a compact garden.

A Paradise of food species from all over, Bamboos, Kayaking, fermenting, wicking beds, hands on with the sheep, the soil  and the plants, these are just some of the things awaiting you when you come to Bucca Haven, our 5 acres of on going, developing organic food forest. We have almost 50 bamboo clumps, all mature & provide endless mulch, shade & timber material for all sorts of projects. It is called the thinking mans timber. We grow an abundant and varied amount of food plants all year round, we can use anything from 10 to 30 different species in our green salad, none of which is lettuce! (Providing the sheep haven't got to them first) We have a number of different species of food plants from across the sub tropical regions of the earth, & are always on the lookout for more variety. We enjoy a sunny, warm to hot climate, 20c to 38c except in winter which for us in June thru to Sept which could be as low as 7c overnight to 27c daily & anything in between. We love good food, healthy food, home grown food. So if you like to cook, great! When the dam is full, it is our swimming hole. When the dam is low, we go 6k to the Kolan River for a cool swim, or Kayak. We are 31km from Bundaberg & 27 km from Gin Gin. I can collect you from either town if you do not have your own transport. I am a Bible believer in my mid 60's, still active, always learning, gardening, crafting, sewing, swimming, kayaking & socialising. But I need you to speak English as I don't have any other language. If you can read English too that is even better.

We live on the beautiful south coast of NSW, close to quiet beaches and surrounded by forest. We have been growing veg for local families for 20 years and have trained and mentored many small business owners in mixed market gardening. We enjoy life, flavour and nature. We have hosted many foreign and Australian helpers over the years and enjoy the cultural exchange. Kirsti and I have travelled to many countries over the years but now we have a farm we can't go so often so we enjoy hearing your stories of travel. On our farm there are 2 rooms for WWOOFer accommodation. They are separate from our house and clean and comfortable. We share lunch and dineer and you can make your own breakfast in the packing shed which has a stove and a fridge. There are dams for swimming in and bush trails for walking nearby. We don't ask you to help on weekends so the beach is a good option.

The property is 1/2 an acre and I am slowly establishing permaculture gardens. The house is on the edge of a small town, with a swimmable river most of the year. The house is the sort of house that makes you smile, its old and quirky and yellow. There are also bedrooms available in a converted shed and plenty of space for tents/vans. It is about 45 minutes drive from Wilsons Prom, and local towns are about 10 minutes drive. South Gippsland is chock full of beautiful beaches, forests and places to explore.

We've been dreaming of traveling for a long time, and WWOOF feels like the perfect way to explore the world while doing something meaningful. Even though we can be a bit shy at first, we don't want that to stop us from experiencing new things and growing as people. One of our goals is to become more open, confident, and connected through real experiences and meeting new people. We see WWOOFing as a great chance to step out of our comfort zone, learn new skills, and be part of everyday life in a different culture. -As a team we're excited to take on this adventure together.
