I joined WWoof because I think it is the best way to get in touch with local people, and get to know their culture, way of live. I also love working outside, and I'd be glad to help in the fields, with the animals or anything where I could be useful. I enjoy traveling, but I think the best way to understand a country is by staying with host for quite some time.

Many of my friends have told me about their great experiences as wwoofers, and even my mother wwoofed while studying agriculture. My father is a landscape architect and owned a garden design company, so I grew up in pretty ‚green circumstances‘. I love repairing and designing things, whether in the garden or while cooking. I enjoy being around friendly people and animals. I also love working with (large) machines and repairing them. I think working together is a great way to get to know each other. I hope to learn new things through wwoofing and am happy to contribute what I can.

We're in Australia for one month and half and want to be included in the Australian culture by meeting people and exchange with them. We think that woofing is a great way to improve our English and discover a new way of life, living at the rythme of a family.

Woofing is something a number of my friends and family have done and they all rave about it! It seems a great opportunity to make a positive, practical contribution to people building great communities, engaged in environmentally sound farming practices, sharing the load, skills and knowledge while providing a win/win situation for all involved. Those volunteering their efforts by offering their labour get accommodation, board and learn new skills, and those hosting get hands on help to manage their work, meet new people. It sounds great and something I would love to be a part of.

Welcome to our 62-acre organic farm in the stunning Lenswood hills of the Adelaide Hills wine region. We raise sheep, cows, calves, and chickens, and care for fruit trees and native bush as part of our regenerative, chemical-free approach. We're transitioning off-grid and have just completed a major water project. WWOOFers help with gardening, animal care, bush restoration, firewood, and reviving this land's natural beauty. Stay in our homestead or camp onsite, share home-cooked meals (and help create them), and enjoy great conversations — especially if you like business and getting your hands dirty.

I’ve been interested in farming for a long time because my grandparents used to run a farm. When I was a child, I often helped them out with my cousins, and those moments became some of my most treasured childhood memories. Ever since I decided to go on a working holiday in Australia, WWOOFing has been one of my goals. There are three main reasons why I want to join: 1. I want to experience real farm life and reconnect with those childhood memories. 2. I’m eager to learn new skills and contribute through physical work—I find meaning in working with my hands. 3. I believe staying with local hosts will help me understand a new culture more deeply. Also, I hope to meet the requirements for a second working holiday visa by working for at least three months !

I joined WWOOF because I want to try new things. I've always wanted to visit Australia but never had the chance to go before. I'm currently studying agriculture at university and have a strong interest in farming and organic practices. Since I love fruits, vegetables, and animals, I thought WWOOF would be a perfect fit for me. Additionally, I want to improve my English skills by communicating with native speakers.

Preferred name is Bhodi. Moving back to the Northern Rivers in early 2026. I see WWOOFing as a stepping stone to a more permanent place in the area. I also would like to have a break from my current career and spend more time outdoors. Hoping to have stalls at markets on the weekends with my art prints etc. when I come back to the Northern Rivers. Notice more and more how happy I am outdoors gardening, doing Landcare or enjoying the great outdoors.

We’d love to experience life beyond the usual travel route, to get to know the land, the people, and the daily rhythms of farm life. We’re excited to learn more about organic farming, sustainable living, and practical skills, while also sharing our own skills and stories. Most of all, we look forward to making new connections, learning from you, and contributing to daily life on your farm.

Thousand year old pines, sandalwoods and acacia trees nestle on the rare sandhills that are culturally significant and a living historic museum. 100 acres of bush where kangaroos and emus roam and the wild animals keep company. We are 800 metres from the Murray River and 20 min from Echuca. Citrus orchard, revegetation works, distilling essential oils and art are all part of our daily life. We need a hand to keep this sacred place alive. Peace, birdsong and adventure are here.

The property Glen Innes (8000 ha) was bought in 2000 at a time when the habitat type found here was being cleared at a rapid rate. Our goal is to conserve what little remains of a unique Queensland habitat. We work to restore the property to its former natural glory while also farming for our sustenance. Kerand Station (4,500 ha) and Glen Innes Station (a.k.a. ‘Bimblebox Nature Refuge') are 110km apart, near the townships of Alpha and Jericho in Central West Queensland. Both properties run cattle to cover costs, preserve remnant bushland (uncleared), and are home to native flora and fauna.  Some paid work could be available.
