A few km's from Mt Barker, just below the beautiful Mt Barker summit, we run a mixed Bio-dynamic farm where our focus is on growing and making high quality, artisan wine and enjoying growing and making our own food. Additionally, we make cider, bread, preserves and honey.  We have an extensive commercial vegetable garden, olive grove, small home orchard and revegetation areas. We run cattle, sheep, chickens, guinea fowl and keep bees. Volunteering on our family farm includes picking, planting, weeding, animal husbandry and seasonal vineyard work.  Great team experience plus some solo tasks. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped accommodation.  Shared day time meals, mixed healthy diet. Close to Mt Barker town centre and 25 minutes from Adelaide CBD.

This is our second caravan trip, our first being in 2011, traveling and WWOOFF-ing with a 6- and a 1.5-year-old for 9 months. During that time, we enjoyed the hospitality of 3 hosting families and the opportunity to spend time with and learn from them. Finding ourselves in areas we hadn’t visited before, and doing things we had never done. We have subscribed to WWOOFF as we welcome the opportunity to meet new people, discover new places, and doing whatever is most helpful.

We live on an urban block 200 meters to the beach in a small seaside village on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. We grow veggies and some fruit trees, treat everything that comes into our house as a precious resource for reuse. We have several composts and a worm farm. A bus to town goes by our door for transport or you can use our bikes. I love to cook (primarily from the garden). We have a queen sized bedroom, private living space and large bathroom available for WWOOFers.

I joined WWOOF because I’m eager to gain hands-on experience in sustainable farming and learn about life on a farm. I’ve always enjoyed taking on new challenges, and working on a farm seems like the perfect opportunity to learn practical skills that I haven’t explored before.

My partner and I live on a small life-style property. It is not a farm and we do not live in Suburbia. We own a 3 acre bush block - all gum trees - no animals, no crops. We live just 10 minutes from Kempsey and only 20 minutes from the very popular surf beach, Crescent Head. There are two dwellings on our property; we live in one and we also have a flat on the same property for our guests. Part of the flat is also my pottery studio. We would appreciate help with some landscaping ideas and jobs such preparing firewood for the coming winter months. I am a full-time potter and I tutor workshops from my studio therefore I could also use a helping hand with pottery projects and workshops. We do not have pets because we like to encourage the wild life, especially the Australian bird life.

I want to join WWOOF to work on permaculture farms and learn the principles of permaculture farming and develop my skills. I chose to go to Australia because that's where permaculture was born. So I'm very keen to find out about your farm, to help you in your day-to-day activities and to train myself in the process.

I joined WWOOF because I wanted to see a wider world beyond Japan. I hope to experience and absorb different cultures and values, and to feel the beauty of the world firsthand. As I have been studying international cultures, I strongly wanted to go out into the world and see it with my own eyes. Also, because I am still discovering who I am, I want to spend this year exploring what kind of environment suits me best.

We are a group of 4 families who run 3 properties all next door to each other around the Weir River. We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area, with a mix of open grazing country running into brigalo timber and down into lightly forested river country. We are 40 mins from both Goondiwindi and Moonie. We have a fully seperate 4 bedroom house for you to stay in that has been recently renovated, with wifi and mobile service available. We also have a lot of diversity, with sheep, stud cattle, cropping, breeding and training horses, as well as cutting/camp-draft training amongst ourselves, there is something here to interest everybody.

We are situated in the Keysbrook hills (Binjareb Noongar country), about 1 hour south of Perth, Western Australia. We have a small holding of 7 acres with a winter creek, open pasture, orchard, and a bush area that connects to the adjacent forest where the Munda Biddi cycle trail runs past the property. For swimming, the nearby North Dandalup Dam is perfect for a refreshing dip at the end of a hot day in summer & for picnics throughout the year. We are revitalising the permaculture design that was developed between 1998 - 2016 with the help of many Wwoofer's when my parents and at different times my siblings were living here over those 18 years. We are now regenerating the design to be more suitable for changing climate conditions and our aspirations to connect urban dwellers to nature and growing food. In our gardening and design work, we engage with Wwoofers as co-learners. This means we recognise we are always on a learning journey of observation and experimentation, integrating our experiences while also hearing about people's inspiration, insights, and reactions to our approach as feedback for reflection. Our primary focus is that we work toward a design that support anyone that spends time here to experience this place as an opportunity to connect to self, others, nature and place - our contribution to people and planet.

I just came to Australia. Since I lived in a city, I didn't have much opportunity to experience nature. I want to learn about Australia's nature and culture by helping my host here. And I also want to meet new people!

About Our Farm We’re a small, family-run 5-acre permaculture property located in Shadforth, WA, just 4km from the beautiful town of Denmark on the south coast. Our farm uses permaculture principles and currently revolves around a chicken mandala system—where chickens rotate through garden zones to regenerate soil, control pests, and fertilise veggie beds. We’re also adding regeneratively grazed sheep, planting fruit trees, and have various small building projects underway including assembling a kit shed, building a firewood shelter, and doing some light tractor work for earth shaping. Help Needed We’re looking for WWOOFers to assist with: Chicken care and feeding Planting and maintaining the vegetable gardens Making compost and caring for seedlings Small construction and maintenance projects Light tractor work (if skilled) You’ll be working 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, with weekends or two days of your choice off. Accommodation & Meals You’ll stay in a self-contained, beautifully appointed studio apartment with: Your own kitchen (including a Thermomix) Ensuite bathroom TV, WiFi, and all essentials for a comfortable stay We’ll supply food for you to prepare your own meals or eat with us, and you’ll be welcome to join our family for healthy shared meals and social occasions. About Us We are a couple with two boys aged 10 and 13, and a male livestock guardian dog who protects our chickens. WWOOFers must be comfortable around big working dogs. We love meeting people from around the world and sharing knowledge about regenerative agriculture, permaculture, and off-grid living. Free Time & Lifestyle Denmark is a vibrant, eco-conscious community surrounded by national parks, world-class beaches, and hiking trails. We have bikes, a kayak, and snorkel gear available for use. A car is recommended to get around, though town is just a short ride away. We’re looking for enthusiastic, practical, and respectful helpers who enjoy nature, learning new skills, and working independently. This opportunity is ideal for a couple or a single.

I joined WWOOF to connect to hosts and fellow travellers, immerse myself in different cultures, and experience everyday life in a hands-on, meaningful way. I look forward to meeting people from around the world, building genuine friendships, and gaining a deeper understanding of their culture and lifestyle. I am excited to contribute, learn new skills, and grow through shared experiences.
