Skills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Biodynamics practices and techniques
I want to learn the art of horseback riding. I started horseback riding 10 months ago. And I could not ride a lot of horses. In addition, I didn't learn how to dress and groom a horse. So I want to learn those skills through working on the farm at WWOOF. I wanted to find a good farm on this site because I couldn't find many farm jobs on other websites. I thought that by living in a foreign environment, I would be able to interact with other cultures. And I am very excited to have that experience. I have never had the experience of working on a farm before and would love to have a variety of experiences at this site.

This is not my first time on wwoof, but this time around I am joining because I will be traveling to Australia for a dear friend's wedding in January and thought extending my stay to visit with a farm would be a great use of time since I'm taking the winter off of work back in the US.

Since my neighbors in Germany also have a WWOOFing Farm and they also had international workers with them, I grew interested in doing WWOFing myself. I think it’s a great opportunity to get to know the culture of a country.

[Reason for coming to Australia]I work as a videographer at my company in Japan. In 2023 I came to Australia with a working holiday visa.I'm on the move because I've decided to work as a camera in Cairns. Therefore, I am looking for a farmer who can help 2-7 days.【Reasons for joining WWOOF】I love animals and plants, so I wanted to work on a farm. But I have to go to Cairns so I have only a little time left.A few days I will do my best to help you.[What I want to achieve with wwoof]I like animals, so I'd be happy if I could take care of them.

I would love to experience life in Australia and meet Australians. I have joined wwoof because I got to meet amazing families when I wwoofed in new zealand (10 years ago now) who I still keep in touch with and they have come to visit me. I enjoy meeting new people and going new places and find that when wwoofing you can meet people that live in the country and are keen to share (not that there's anything wrong with meeting fellow backpackers but as I'm in my 30s I prefer the country life and not the party scene)

For the experience to learn a few things about organic practice and sustainability, and hopefully off-grid living etc. I would like to WWoof in Tasmania, learn about the land and how to take care of it. I am interested in learning about animal husbandry, nurturing animals and alternative veterinary practice for small farms.

We want to collect as many experiences and memories as possible during our stay. Getting to know the locals and nature of Australia is the reason we travelled here. We prefer staying in the countryside over a busy city.

This year I've been living with my grandmother and now I'm sharing with some young people. I've lived in Paris, then in the Paris suburbs, and I've had the opportunity to travel a lot with my family, all over the world, since I was very young, including Morocco, the United States, Portugal, Greece, Scotland, England, Senegal, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and even Turkey. I love travelling, learning about new cultures, languages, landscapes and air, so I can see myself going abroad on my own. I'm planning to take a year off, to slow down my studies, work on myself, my relationship with others, learn a language and spend more time in contact with nature. I'm looking to develop in peace and quiet, learn about life on the other side of the world and cultivate myself. This would allow me to be freer in my intentions.

I'm going to avoid repetition with my presentation. I love the idea of Woofing. Helping (and at the same time learning) in exchange for room and board. It's simple and a return to the best of human nature: altruism. I see it as a real way of life, an opportunity to travel and meet new people in a convivial atmosphere. If I'm here, it's not to replicate the life I've led over the last few years, but to discover a country, a culture, people, to become bilingual, in exchange for my two arms, of course, but also for the person I am and aspire to be fully. I'd like to live more independently. To try permaculture, to get back to the land a bit more, and what better way than with people who do it every day to lay the foundations, including, for me, on the other side of the world? Please note : Lucas has a strong allergy to seafood and fish. Also, he smokes (lesser and lesser, but still). We know that this can bother some people, so we prefer to indicate it immediately.

I would therefore like to join wwoofng to help on a project and meet people. But also particularly discover local cultures and learn English. I am extremely motivated and I want to work on a project that I like.
