When I had an Australian wine for the first time, I was so impressed. So I want to study and know more about it. That is why I came to Australia. I want to sell the Australian wine in the future, because I want more Japanese people to drink and know Australian wine.I think joining wwoof will help me achieve that goal.

I need to find a place where I can confirm my 88 days. Currently I was able to work 6 months in Melbourne in the restaurant business as well as 1 and a half months in the north of Tasmania but I was not able to do my full 88 days. My visa ends at the end of May and it will be a failure for me if I cannot extend it without knowing Australia by wwoofing.

I love learning and have always wanted to learn about farming, growing food, and caring for animals. I really enjoy learning from experts and opportunities for hands-on experiences in nature.

I'm looking to gain as much experience as I can in organic farming, growing and harvesting as I want to take my skills home with my and hopefully in the future have my own organic garden! I am looking to go back to University to do a course in plant biodiversity/wildlife conservation and this would give me great hands on experience of plants and conservation. I am also trying to see as much of Australia as I can and this seems like a great way to travel and gain new friends and skills!

I joined WWOOF with the intention of acquiring new skills, meeting new people, continuing to learn English, and immersing myself in the natural richness of this country. It's not just about the work experience for me; it's a journey of personal and cultural enrichment, embracing the diversity and beauty that this land has to offer.

I learned about the WWOOF organization from my bestie, and after hearing about her experience milking cows, I immediately became interested and wanted to experience farm life! I yearn for a life in nature, away from skyscrapers, away from the disturbance of electronic devices, wanting to empty and heal myself, and to feel the purest joy. Of course, I have also mentally prepared myself and have done some research and understanding of the farm's ecological environment. I am a very serious person when it comes to work and have a strong ability to learn. I believe I can quickly adapt to the farm environment and get the hang of farm work, helping everyone share the workload. For me, this is not only about learning a skill but also about having a completely different life experience, which is an indispensable part of life's journey. I believe that during this process, I will be able to clarify many things that are currently causing me anxiety, and learn to view problems and life from a completely new perspective. I also consider this as a great opportunity to experience the local customs and culture of Australia, to make new friends, and to work and play together. I would also be happy to share some Chinese customs with everyone, and if you're interested, I can even show off my cooking skills by preparing a few Chinese dishes, haha! In summary, I really hope to have this opportunity to become a member of WWOOF and to spend an unforgettable time with everyone.

I would like to see other parts of Australia and meet different people. I would love to expand my skills and learn new things. It is super hard finding work at the moment, so working for accommodation is brilliant to safe money and get some experience at the same time. I know so many people who did a lot of woofing while they were in Australia, and all of them spoke highly of it.

I’m traveling around Australia at the moment I will leave Melbourne and travel to New Caledonia, Fiji and back to Australia for a bit. I couldn't live in the local place when I lived in Australia, so I want to take this opportunity to try.

I have heard from friends and strangers alike what an amazing time they've had in their WWOOFing experiences and wanted an immersive and cheap way to travel & also learn about farming!

What impressed us the most about WWOOF was the opportunity to live with and directly experience the lives of local people in the area. As you know, we came here to meet diverse people and have unique experiences. If we were to do WWOOFing, we would love to create unforgettable memories by immersing ourselves in the lives of the locals. Another reason we are interested in WWOOFing is because of our warm memories from the farm. Our grandparents used to run an apple farm and raise cows, chickens, and rabbits. During our childhood, we would often stay at our grandparents' house for a few months during summer vacation and experience life on the farm while helping out. We have accumulated many cherished memories on the farm, and that serene and warm countryside life holds a special place in our hearts. It would be wonderful to create such beautiful memories once again.

As a resident in highly urbanised Hong Kong, farming has always fascinated me. It is to me, a way to work with our Earth to grow food. I am eager to join WWOOF Australia to develop a deeper understanding of farming techniques and sustainable land management. Large scale farming in particular. I wish to expand my horizons in the field of agriculture through this volunteering experiencing. I believe participating in WWOOF would help me expand my practical skills as well, in areas like crop cultivation, animal husbandry, and permaculture. Last but not least, I would also love to meet like-minded individuals who enjoy being close to the environment and finding sustainable ways to grow food. This opportunity to immerse myself in organic farming communities in Australia aligns perfectly with my interest for environmental stewardship and self-sufficiency.

Looking for a farm where I can complete my 88 days, ideally with accommodation provided. A friend of mine who works as a volunteer on a family farm close to Byron Bay had an amazing experience with this platform, so that is why I have decided to give it a chance as well.

When I think back about my experiences on the farms back home, I think about it with a lot of joy. I would like to get some experience of Australian farms as well. With my previous experiences I think I would be a great help around the property but ofcourse, there is always room for improvement!

I'm grateful for the hospitality that I've enjoyed as a traveler throughout my life, and have reciprocated by hosting guests. WWOOFers often stay in our community and I value their contributions, and the diversity of cultures, experiences and stories that they bring.
