First of all, I was honestly looking for an affordable accommodation here in Australia. However, I feel WWOOFing is a great opportunity to experience the authentic and less touristy spots of this country. I‘d also love to meet new people, gain new experiences and go out of my comfort zone.

I loved my experience WWOOFing in New Zealand and really value this as more than an exchange, but rather, a shared experience for both parties. Some of the WWOOFing hosts I have met this year, I still keep in contact with to this day and have had an amazing positive impact on me and made me feel more connected to the country while travelling.

Definetely learning more about sustainable ways of living. Meeting interesting people to exchange experiences. Learning from each other by connecting with eachother. I'm looking forward to help with al kind of activities on the farm / project. I'm living in Groningen, a city in the North of Holland. Since a while I have a kitchen garden from 80 square meter. I love working outside with the elements of nature. So i'm looking forward to discover what daily life on an organic farm entails. Maybe in the future it is possible to integrate it the lessons to my students. That would be amazing.

My friend (Chloe) and I are looking for an internship to validate our diploma in agriculture and food science between March and June. We are specialized in food science : chloe have a strong experience in fermented beverages like kombucha and kefir and I have already developed many food products. We would like to do our internship as wwoofers to discover the Australian culture in a farm that would need our hands to help, our knowledge in food science or something to teach us in food science. We chose Australia to discover the country, the culture and improve our English.

I am moving to Australia for a year, seeking for new approaches to life. Since my goal is more to experience than to earn money, I thought wwoofing might be the perfect plan! I see this year as an opportunity to discover lifestyles, meet individualities and share experiences.

I think I have a suit of knowledge to offer, like working physically as it's nice to get out of my head and would love to keep learning. I do love the Australian bush and wildlife, and I like to get my hands dirty. Then again, I love thinking about how all things living are interconnected and influence one another. Considering and using these impacts smartly is fun, saves time, pesticides and so on. Learning more about permaculture would be wonderful

l'envie d'échanger avec de nouvelles personnes, et d'arriver enfin a parler Anglais pour me faire comprendre dans la vie de tous les jours. l'année dernière je suis partis a Malte 3 mois pour apprendre l'anglais, mais j'ai compris que le meilleur moyen c'était de travailler pour assimiler the desire to interact with new people, and to finally be able to speak English to make myself understood in everyday life. last year I went to Malta for 3 months to learn English, but I understood that the best way was to work to assimilate

It feels like the perfect opportunity to strengthen my connection to and understanding of the land and to learn as much as many areas and approaches as I can manage. It's always been something I wanted to do (either here or overseas) and circumstance has made right now the right time. I've been out of the workforce a while and I think WWOOFing would be an incredibly rewarding experience that would help me get some confidence back (self efficacy, hands on experience, social connection, learning to appreciate what my body can do) while also getting the chance to assist other people who share my values who are already living and working in the fields I want to be living and working in myself... Not to mention diving from the concrete of Melbourne head. first into the greens and browns I've been missing.

Give back to the local communities and learn about the lifestyle. Meet new people in small communities. We love wildlife so want to do our part to rebuild it in damaged areas.

I am looking for opportunities to interact with local people in Australia. I would like to be exposed to a lifestyle that is in harmony with nature and I would like to learn about agriculture. I like English, so I would like to spend time communicating in English. I would like to be introduced to Japanese culture.

We both would love to get to know the country and the locals and think that working on a farm is the best way to do that. By using the WWOOF platform we hope to support some sustainable and ecological efforts while we're here. From friends that have been here before we heard great things about the platform and the hosts 🙂

I wanted to join WEOOF to expand my knowledge of organic farming, connecting with country, meeting new people and spending time in nature. I love to travel and with WWOOF I think I will be able to put my current skills in horticulture, beekeeping and organic farming to good use.

I enjoy working hard outside, I particularly enjoying doing so with others and a shared goal. I like using my body, exerting energy and action in a practical way. I always want to be continually learning and relearning and gathering the skills and knowledge to be living authentically, in unison with nature, sustainably, creating a kind and vibrant life.

The reason why I try to do WWOOF is that I’d like to have an opportunity to stay with people in different culture and work in a farm. And I’d like to make friends who are from different countries and talk about different cultures.

I joined WWOOF as I would like to explore Australia and learn about its native wildlife from local communities. I would also like to learn about native customs and traditions, meet new people, and also feel like I am contributing something by working on the land. I would like to share Irish culture and folklore with new people, and make lasting connections.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
