Why I became a WWOOF Host

We love meeting people and sharing ideas. We make sourdough bread, kefir, yoghurt, cheese, kombucha and fermented vegetables. We bottle tomatoes if there’s a good crop in summer. We also harvest 1,000 garlic from the community garden around November. Visitors have come to learn some of these skills as well as restoring the original mud brick cottage. We enjoy meeting new visitors who enjoy off grid self sufficiency.
We have been clearing weeds and fixing the road in. We also work in the community garden as well as establishing and building more vegetable gardens. Collecting macadamias and general maintenance of fencing.
