Short Property Description
Our 250 acre farm has 80a of rainforest & waterfalls bordered by Topaz NP in spectacular Atherton Tablelands, with much to explore. We are producers of Certified Organic Ginger, and Cattle. I brew Ginger Wine. I have have some re-forestation and ecobuilding projects (trying to use materials from the farm) in the pipe line.
Activities tend to be varied so visitors can learn new skills. Ginger work involves general gardening tasks , weeding, and harvesting. Other tasks may involve general farm work of fencing and construction. I try to have varied work so people can learn and enjoy more. A flexible 20 hours a week so visitors can take advantage of the beautiful environment.
Our home with expansive views has two private bedrooms.
I have WWOOFed in Sth America & am interested in sustainable agriculture, brewing bio-fertiliser and wine. We require capable, mature WWOOFers with genuine interest.
