Short Property Description
I have spent most of my life in the bush or on the sea and Helen is a well travelled artist.
We live on 95 acres of rainforest, 50 acres a nature refuge with 10 acres of edible bamboo shoots.
A self-built, open plan house sits between spring fed dams and is powered by solar & hydro.
Platypus & cassowary are about and be aware that we also have snakes & spiders. There is a permanent creek, swimming holes, a large vegetable patch & fruit trees.
We are close to Bartle Frere, the highest mountain in Qld, which gives even temperatures, cool nights & few pests. Bring raincoats, work clothes and boots for outdoor work.
