Short Property Description
Our trade name Ozparagus covers our (Australian) asparagus, both green and white. We also grow passionfruit and pawpaw. Other fruit trees shade the chickens which run around freely during the day.
You will experience many different cultures on the farm with backpackers from around the world, and our family includes grandparents.
Of course, we have our resident dog Buster who is extremely friendly and will try to convince you he is hungry always. See his Instagram story on our page.
We very much look forward to meeting you all

Organic/Biological methods we use
We use a soil enhancer with Microbiologicals Our watering is filtered through the sand so no fluoride in this water. We do burn offs in season quite windy up here. Chris also makes a fertilizer for the trees from chicken poop. All vege and fruit waste goes to the chickens. With the solider fly we will try to use them as much as possible on all waste to make our own fertilized soil. and are even looking into the duck pond water usages when we clean and empty it for them. Not to waste anything. All cardboard is soaked down to make a base for planting.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We really wanted to create a community of likeminded people here on the farm with everyone being able to contribute to the farm life and live off the farm as much as possible. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world and sharing our life with them, here on the farm and introducing them to our unique region.
