Short Property Description
10-acre property on Yuin country just outside of Bermagui, on the New South Wales south coast. We’ve just finished building a solar-passive home while slowly transforming our block into a food haven. We have a huge unclosed orchard and veggie garden (33×13 metres) and lots of new windbreak trees that have just gone in, three beehives, two rotating chicken tractors for eggs and a bunch of sheep that are our paddock-lawn mowers (and the boys are meat).
Organic/Biological methods we use
We use companion planting, homemade sprays, mulch, biochar, compost, worm farm, seaweed, good bug planting mix to attract beneficial insects.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We live quite rurally, and I’m keen for my kids to be exposed to people from other cultures and backgrounds. We love to grow, cook and share food and being able to do this with others is can be very rewarding.
