Short Property Description
Bullimah Community is heading in to its third year. It’s been an eventful few years with building an intentional community, bushfires and COVID. We are a community made up of varying ages with several families with children. We currently have gardens on all our individual shares and communally farm our chickens, ducks, a goat and two sheep. Over the next year we will be setting up our communal wastewater system, which will also include our orchard, planting fruit trees in our communal areas, working on our community garden and on our animal systems, rehabilitating and augmenting our riparian areas as well as building houses, milling timber, fencing and all the other necessities of living on property.
Organic/Biological methods we use
We currently have gardens on most of our shares. We are in the process of creating a communal garden as well as planting fruit and nut trees. We are also rehabilitating our creek lines and fencing, fencing and fencing!
Most of our work is permaculture inspired and all of our work is organic. We are looking at incorporating more regenerative farming practices especially trapping nutrient and water flow.
We need more hands to help create the systems we would like to see on the property.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We have hosted several wonderful WWOOFers who have helped us immensely. We are still in contact with many of them. We believe in working together and so WWOOFing works well with this.
