Why I want to join is quite simple. I want to get to know the Australian country life but not only that. I want to work on a few farms. I want to learn more about permaculture and get to know the lives of people, animals and plants...I hope for a really great experience.

To experience different ways of living. I have WWOOFered in NSW and enjoyed stays with each of my hosts. I would need hosts for a short stay initially and then negotiable longer time.

I learnt about WWOOF from a colleague, she told me of her experience travelling overseas. I joined WWOOF as it seems the simplest way to navigate volunteering! I am seeking short term stays with knowledgeable farmers and homesteaders who are willing to teach.

I came to Australia to practice my English, experience a new culture, explore different landscapes, and most importantly, to meet amazing people. After three weeks in Melbourne, I haven’t quite found the change of scenery I was hoping for by coming to the other side of the world. WWOOF seems like the best solution to help me achieve that goal.

I would like to experience staying at a farmhouse, learning about local culture and different values, and helping each other. I would also like to gain experience in farming. My goal is to live in a quiet place surrounded by nature.

Because I would like to gain agricultural experience.WWOOF provides me an opportunity to learn about farming practices, from planting and cultivating crop to tending livestock. I can work on themselves in the daily routines of organic farms, honing their skills under the guidance of experienced farmers. I can acquire not only practical skills but also developing a greater appreciation for the importance of sustainable farming methods. I can experience something I’ve never before. And I would like to communicate with local people and the friends I meet there. I like meeting people from all over the world. I would like to become friends different cultural background. I want to share my culture with others. And I want to expose myself to diverse perspectives and improve myself. Beyond the during WWOOF, I we can find strong connection. In WWOOF there's no exchange of money, so I can enjoy and work it purely.

I joined WWOOF because a friend highly recommended it. I enjoy helping out, and I’m eager to learn about organic farming. Plus, I see it as an alternative travel experience.

I joined WWOOF through American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS) and am interested in learning about life on Australian Organic & Permaculture farms and learning about growing and producing organically.

I think if I join WWOOF I can live a really authentic experience in Australia, discovering the culture in different way than hostel experiences. I love helping people and creating a good moment.

I'm leaving France and start woofing for teaching a new experience and way in my life. I've been in medicine studies and psychological studies but I've never felt in my right place in these university. Woofing have been for me a good way to accomplished that since I've seen my sister do the same and get out of this experience completely change in the better way possible. I'm looking forward to meet new people no matter the age.

We both needed a break after our studies and wanted to discover new countries, cultures and spend time in the nature to do some manual work. We just finished a year in New Zealand doing mainly volunteering work and we loved it! That’s why we decided to continue travelling in the same way in other countries and we're now in Australia on a working holiday visa! We’re looking forward to meeting new people and sharing time and experiences with hosts and other woofers!

6.5-acre hobby farm 600 meters from Silver Sands beach. Permaculture garden, fruit orchard, chickens. Volunteering includes gardening & general farm maintenance and helping establish new gardens and infrastructure. Accommodation for 2 maximum in a room in the main house. Some shared meals, food provided for self-catering. Mixed diet. No children. No smoking. Initial stay 2-5 days, longer stays negotiable.

Because I need something to do and working on a farm sounds interesting and suits me. I also hope to meet some friends on my travels. A friend recommended that I try woofing so I thought I'd give it a shot

I've already experiment woofing in Corsica in a market gardening and it was a really nice experience ! I love to work with my hands and with the nature. I'm coming in Australia to play to the WOMADelaide festival with ilotopie compagny. I'm staying for 2 weeks after the festival and I would like to join a farm with woofing. I hope I will meet you soon !

I came to Australia for a working holiday, and it was more fun than I thought. So I wanted to get a second visa, so I looked into it, and I got to know a wwoof where I can work close to nature, so I applied because I really wanted to participate.

I want to see what a farm down south might look like. I want to learn how others go about regenerative farming in WA and hopefully meet like-minded people.

I’m visiting Australia from my home in London to spend time with family, but I also see this as a great opportunity to learn and grow in other ways. I’ve spent several years working in office jobs, but I’m now looking for a lifestyle change and a break from the routine. I’ve developed a growing interest in permaculture, regenerative growing practices, and rewilding, and I’m excited to learn more about these areas while also embracing a more outdoor-focused way of life. I’m also eager to meet like-minded people, try out new crafts, and learn from those embracing a more sustainable way of living.

I will interact with many people abroad to improve my English and exchange different cultures.
