HELP NEEDED with PUPPY CARE (breeding litter) for 1 MONTH: from approx Nov 13 to Dec 13/14 2025. Findlay Farm is an ORGANIC OFF GRID establishing farm (since 2023). We are located in Bailup, WA on 100 acres, bit of bush, but mostly grazing farm land with amazing views. Suzanne manages the farm following PERMACULTURE PRINCIPLES, she studied Permaculture Cert 3 in 2022. We are a cattle and sheep farm for organic grass fed beef and lamb, we produce organic honey, and are in the process of establishing organic fruit and vegetable produce. Outstanding projects are: orchard, chicken coop, lawn, retic, fencing, storage organisation, landscaping. We also breed Pedigree Australian Shepherds, which requires puppy care. We have a fully independent little unit (with ensuite bathroom and kitchenette) for the Wwoofer(s). It can take a couple who likes to sleep snuggly.

Last year i started traveling arround Europe and New Zealand, what was a nice experience. I introduced Wwoofing into my life and it was such a amazing experience. Learning new things about life and different stiles of living is a very important thing for me these times. For me it is the best way for giving something back to the people, helping them out with all kinds of stuff. It is also a very nice way of meeting local people instead of just traveling arround the tourist spots.

I joined WWOOF because I want to experience farm life up close, learn practical skills, and connect with nature. For me, WWOOF is not just about work—it’s about sharing, learning, and being part of a farm community. I’m excited to contribute, meet new people, and make a positive impact while discovering a new way of life.

To help support the natural world of Australia! Really looking to learn from experience while also giving back through labour, unique design and finding/making ecological connections. This is a great website for me to offer some of my skills and develop myself at the same time.

I think it is a very nice way to save some money while travelling while also doing people a favor by helping out on their farm. In addition to this I also think it will be a very educational experience for me by learning various skills on the farm. Lastly I believe that it is a great way to meet some locals and gain some real experiences, unlike always having to buy the experiences.

I want to do WWOOFing because I’m passionate about being close to animals and I love spending time in nature. WWOOFing is the perfect opportunity for me to experience the real Australian lifestyle, far from the traditional tourist routes. I’m eager to learn about the daily rhythm of life on a farm, discover new skills, and understand how things work in a sustainable and authentic environment. I also see WWOOFing as a wonderful cultural exchange. I want to immerse myself in local life, meet people with different backgrounds, and improve my English in a natural and meaningful way. Contributing to a host’s project while learning and sharing experiences feels very rewarding to me. I’m really looking forward to getting involved, working with my hands, and building memories that will last a lifetime.

We are a 100 acre hobby farm in Tasmania’s Tamar Valley. We are currently converting our property from traditional to regenerative farming practices. This includes making bio char, tree planting, mulching, worm farming, vegy growing, fencing, etc. I run an equine assisted skills development business on the farm facilitating improved mental health and wellbeing so although I might be busy I’m mostly here. Ian sometimes works ‘off farm’ as he drives ships part time. Our animals include ponies, horses, dogs, poultry and sheep. There is private accommodation suitable for a single person or couple available in a small but very well appointed cabin. Work here is often hard and dirty but we spend our days off bush walking, kayaking or bouldering. Vineyards, berry farms, the river, the beach, mountain bike tracks and rock climbing are all within 20 minutes drive so there is something for everyone. We have a small, old style, manual car available for people 25 years and over.

To find volunteering work but also to settle into a lovely community with a shared purpose. I have been on the road for a long time working hard but not necessarily building connections with a community.

I wanted to connect with locals as I'm essentially a tourist for three weeks in Australia and I wanted to volunteer with my friend who's also coming with me here. My friend told me about WWOOF and I thought it was an awesome idea to join to hopefully make lasting memories with him and people I'll meet while I'm there.

I'll be traveling around Australia this fall/winter and am eager to meet locals, build connections, and gain more experience with permaculture/gardening/sustainable living/conscious community building.
