We live in a beautiful area of mid north coast nsw on 200 acres - 1/2 hr drive to some of our most beautiful beaches. We look after 30 cows, 100 sheep, 2 horses (1 can be ridden), chickens, goats, turkeys and not forgetting our two beautiful dogs. You have totally separate accomodation in an old dairy that we lived in for 3 years. Kitchen, bathroom etc, very cute and comfy.. We have a good size and productive vegetable garden and meat is not a problem. Although happy to share meals around dinner/lunch table, we are also happy to give you a grocery allowance and you can do your own thing. Can work that out if and when. Jobs would involve farm duties and continuation of house renovation. Our new home is completely off grid and hoping to eventually have the Dairy (your accommodation) also off grid.  Look forward to hearing from you. Places available from mid January 2025. Instagram is citytocountryconnection if you are interested x

Excited to meet enthusiastic people exploring life and happy to work in exchange for a fun life experience!! I am a practising sculptress and live between two properties with my two sons in their 20’s  (and one with a gf). We have a large bush property (58 acres only wildlife) and central house in melbourne we all live in., plus I have a manual drive country ute. Both places always have some basic stuff to do.  The gardens of both places have never had chemicals and I have 26 years of broadacre farm advocacy with books online regards soil biology and the climate since 2006  . I don’t garden other than domestically but have years of knowledge I can exchange for simple rural labour and domestic tidy/ cleaning I need strength for as busy editing next book on carbon in the soil . had 2 great woods one at each place over nye so now just need some digging as bush has been flooding and need to extend ditches we started plus retrim garden and test irrigation. mud brick house could use some painting i f that interests you while travelling. Depends what you are needing to learn. i’m pretty busy at the moment with my soil carbon book. Also experienced with soil carbon offsets and global climate in this space just back from COP 28.

On one hand, I need to fulfill the visa extension requirements. On the other hand, this platform offers plenty of resources to help me find the type of farm owners I’m looking for.

I joined WWOOFing to meet kind and inspiring people, and to contribute through meaningful work. I enjoy helping with animal care, gardening, cooking (I'd love to share some French recipes!), and general farm tasks. I'm hands-on, respectful, curious, and always eager to learn. This journey is about learning new skills, living new experiences, and growing through real human connection.

I am an artist and live in a large suburban home on the corner of a main road. There are 4 people living here at the moment (2 tenants, my adult son and myself). I work as a freelance artist with ongoing deadlines, and also spend every evening with my 101 year old mother (who lives across the road in an Aged Care facility).  With all this, I am very time-poor, and most meals are seperate due to my unconventional hours. But I am very happy for you to cook or join me when I’m having a meal 🙂 You need to be able to work unsupervised and have an open mind, and be prepared for a different experience as it is not the typical wwoofing framework. Volunteering includes help with vegetable garden (weeding, composting, planting, mulching, watering plants) and general gardening, odd jobs around the house and help with various art projects. Also, on nice days I would appreciate if you could sometimes take my mother out into the sunshine). Accommodation is for 1 or 2 people in spare room or cosy converted garage. Mixed diet. The work hours =  4 hours a day (with flexibility), with one or two days off a week. After working you are very welcome to spend time exploring the city which is a half an hour train ride. There is a local pool, cafés and shopping centres nearby. Life in our household is calm and relaxed and suits those who enjoy peace and quiet. 10 minute walk to train station and 25 min train ride to city. Cannot take WWOOFers from May - October.

I have an urge to break free right now and see what else there is in this world. Also I need to leave my comfort zone and especially my home town during winter time. Plus I enjoy being and working outdoors, when its warm enough anyway.

We joined WWOOF to expand our knowledge about farming, gardening and learn new trades such as bee keeping. We are both people who want to be self sufficient and know what goes into our food. What better way than to grow or raise it yourself. We are also travelers and love meeting people of the area who live off the land so WWOOFing gives you a better feel for the atmosphere and out of the tourist trips.

I absolutely love living in the bush with my beautiful old kelpie, Marley. I live in a eco friendly, strawbale house. My home is surrounded by mature stringy bark eucalyptus trees, black wattle, tee trees and native banksia trees, as well as beautiful native wild flowers and orchids. There is a dam and other buildings on the land which borders the Otway State Forest. I need help in the organic vegetable garden, land and vegetation maintenance, the chickens, fire wood collection and diy. I'm friendly, open minded, easy going woman, who believes that nature and natural environments support better health and well-being. Please send me a message on my mobile, if you're interested.

We live on the beautiful south coast of NSW, close to quiet beaches and surrounded by forest. We have been growing veg for local families for 20 years and have trained and mentored many small business owners in mixed market gardening. We enjoy life, flavour and nature. We have hosted many foreign and Australian helpers over the years and enjoy the cultural exchange. Kirsti and I have travelled to many countries over the years but now we have a farm we can't go so often so we enjoy hearing your stories of travel. On our farm there are 2 rooms for WWOOFer accommodation. They are separate from our house and clean and comfortable. We share lunch and dineer and you can make your own breakfast in the packing shed which has a stove and a fridge. There are dams for swimming in and bush trails for walking nearby. We don't ask you to help on weekends so the beach is a good option.

Susanne and Chris have 120 acre farm in the beautiful hinterland of the Great Lakes area only 20 minutes from the stunning beaches of the Barrington coast ( Seal Rocks, Boomerang and Blueys beach) . We raise Belted Galloway cattle, have horses, chickens and of course dogs. We try to keep everything on farm by breeding, making our own hay and silage, land improvement through compost tea and ehiki application and grow our own vegetables. Wwoofers would have their own seperate accomodation with full kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bedrooms, lounge with log burning fire. Plus outdoor living area with seperate fireplace. There is also a large dam for swimming or cooling off. We eat some lunches together and provide some diners otherwise you cook your own meals. This is why we prefer couples however if you are comfortable with your own company singles will be considered. Closest town is Bulahdelah, 15 minutes away, handy for shopping etc. plus we have a cafe 5 minutes walk open on friday and weekends. There is no public transport so it is an advantage to have your own transport to take in the beautiful area. We are in a designated NSW Fire and Flood area should anyone want to apply for a work holiday 417 extended visa

The reason why I try to do WWOOF is that I’d like to have an opportunity to stay with people in different culture and work in a farm. I used to work on making jams with cakes and seasonal fruits, and that experience made me want to learn more about organic ingredients. I'm interested in joining WWOOF to deepen my agricultural knowledge, connect with people from different cultures, and expand my horizons. Since I have an interest in food, I also want to learn about traditional local dishes. I also love animals and nature. l will do my best for supporting you. I would be glad to work in your nice farm. Thank you.

I’m looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience on an Australian farm while reconnecting with my family there. I love learning and contributing to my community, and I am more than willing and capable of helping out wherever help is needed. Beyond just working on the farm, I’m excited to explore the culture, meet new people, and get a taste of life down under.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
