The Patch Organics is a husband and-wife small enterprise based on permaculture ethics and principles. We operate on Levenvale Farm in Bellingen, NSW which consists of 300 acres of lush green pasture, 200 acres of beautiful rainforest surrounded by amazing mountain scenery. We operate a 1-acre organic and biodynamic market garden and run a flock of 200 organic and pasture-raised chickens for meat. We also run courses, workshops and tours focusing on food resilience. We love food, growing food and increasing connections to food. We are located 5km from Bellingen town, 20km from the nearest beach and 30km to Coffs Harbour.

I’m interested in experiencing dairy farming. I have no prior experience in farming, but I am willing to learn and work hard. In Japan, I worked as a nurse, so I am used to physical work and taking care of others. I would love to learn more about farm life and contribute to farm.

I’m taking a six-month break starting in November 2025 to travel and recharge after many years of studying. I’m married to an Australian, and we’re planning to move to Australia in the near future. I’ve already spent some time in New South Wales visiting family, including in remote areas, and I’m now keen to explore other states and experience what it’s really like to live here. My goal is to do something completely different from my usual environment and to acquire new skills along the way. I have a deep love for animals and would really enjoy the opportunity to work with them.

I joined WWOOF because I think this is a meaningful, valuable, and enriching way to explore a country. I hope that this experience will allow me to be immersed in the Aussie lifestyle, to learn from local farmers, and to contribute to important work. Knowing where our food comes from and participating in this process is something that I think we can all benefit from. Beyond learning practical farming and animal care skills, I think that WWOOF will help me to form connections with like-minded people from all walks of life.

Love animals and being outside Culture of living with families while travelling. Joined wwoof in Canada and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of living with a host and helping out with their business/farm/ranch in return. I want to learn more about growing my own food, and small scale farming so I can hopefully one day have my own little homestead. I believe it is vital to be self sustaining in this crazy unpredictable world we live in. Can’t wait to help out!

We live in the hills of Perth Western Australia on 7 acres of land. It has been set up as semi of grid. We work full time, I work in Mental Health and hubby is a fly in fly out miner so not home all that much 🙁 We have plenty of animals we take care of, these include horse, dogs, chooks and bees. Part of our love is to work the bee hives up to about 80 of them. We sell our honey to family, friends and markets, also I make a lot of by products from the honey and wax such as candles, wax wraps, melts and we also do infused honey for health benefits. Our community of bee keepers are very helpful but always needing an extra hand with the hives. My local community we share our extra crops we have with fruits, eggs and what other things we have an abundance off. I am in our local CWA Country Women's Association where we volunteer out time helping out others by raising funds for different groups or schools and I'm also a member of our local Community support group, where help address concerns in our community like clean up Australia, planting trees to writing letters to the local council of road conditions or fallen trees. I have three horses that I help teach others to ride and also those with disabilities. I have 6 Labrador dogs which are also I breed as another side line business (I am a registered breeder), and use them in my pet therapy groups or one to one with those with disabilities or PTSD. I have a two rooms one queen size and the other with tow single beds in with a shared bathroom and you have a beautiful deck over seeing the rustic bushland that we are surrounded by, you can see the local wild life of kangaroos, birds, bandicoots and others. Others that share the house are and my step son who works full time. There is a indoor heated swimming pool for use too. Our property is very quiet and well set of the road so no disturbances there- maybe the cockatoos (local birds) may wake you up. I hope this is a short summary of mine and hubby's life.

We joined WWOOF to find a farm that we can possibly volunteer in as part of our school's electives programme, where we can explore areas beyond what we are studying in school! We are keen to help out in gardening, caring for animals etc. while also having fun with our hosts. We hope to share our Singapore culture and more about ourselves with hosts while also learning from them their way of life and their culture 🙂

Located in the heart of The Swan Valley with the Avon River flowing through we enjoy walking to the local wineries, kayaking, fishing, incredible sunsets & peaceful surroundings . Our property is home to Kookaburras, native wildlife, friendly goats, three adult humans, horses and cats & dogs. Previously a winery we need a hand to maintain the remaining vines, olive trees and property maintenance. The River gives us al ot of joy but also causes a lot of work in cleaning up after flooding so property clean up is ongoing. Our family is mainly four legged and we have baby goats being born in spring so need a hand giving them lots of cuddles and taking care of them. We are a strictly a non smoking property and focus on working smarter not harder. We work with elements so we offer a variety of tasks depending on the season on what people enjoy doing. Jobs include pruning vines, picking grapes, collecting firewood, helping with goats, fixing fencing, hand weeding, painting, cleaning, pickling olives, house maintenance and preparing for the change of season but if it's too hot we offer indoor jobs too. You can easily explore the local community via kayak, bike or walk with lots of local business close by, including wineries, chocolate factory, weekend markets & local producers. Bells Rapids and other hiking trails are also close by to explore. A fit for us is someone who is happy to work as a team or independently who takes pride in their work and we can trust to have in our home. We do work hard when required but we also play and relax when ever we can. We offer a few accommodation options: Independent Caravan overlooking the property with own fridge, power & wifi ( Are hoping to complete an outdoor bathroom so one of the projects) can be moved down to the river if you prefer. Space for your own campervan to park. We are a busy working family so breakfast & lunch is usually help yourself but we enjoy having an evening meal together.

I joined WWOOF to deepen my skills in sustainable farming and to contribute meaningfully to hands-on projects. I already have experience in this field and want to keep improving by discovering new ways of working and living close to nature. It’s also a great opportunity for me to improve my English, meet inspiring people, and share what I know. For me, WWOOFing is about being useful, learning from others, and living simply with purpose
