We are a small family Dairy Goat farm located in the rolling hills of St. Andrews Victoria. Our property is located in a beautiful area with rolling hills and bushland. With stunning views and birds and wildlife surrounding.  We use our farm as self sufficiency for our family too, growing and making our own food.  We milk our goats each day - we have a herd of around 60-70 dairy goats. We use the milk to make our own cheese, yogurt, icecream etc but we mainly use the milk to turn into Organic Goat Milk Soap and Skincare/Bodycare products which we sell. We are passionate about organic, sustainable and ethical farming, through ways such as regenerative agriculture, pasture rotation etc. We eat organically as a family and feed our animals a natural, high mineral organic diet too. We have 60-70 dairy goats, 3 cows, 2 horses, 30 chooks, 3 ferrets, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 6 sheep. Jobs around our farm include but not limited to milking the goats, feeding the animals, beekeeping, mechanics, gardening, composting (we make our own soil), landscaping, building, bread making, preserving, making soap, moisturisers and oter products, packaging orders, cooking meals from scratch with organic produce from our farm or other local producers, etc.

Our Hidden Valley property is a unique wildlife and natural bushland conservation sanctuary, set in a secluded valley of beautiful tall karri forest and only 5 km west of Denmark WA town centre.  We are a community of 10 households nestled in a peaceful landscape of tall karri forest and open paddock, with rich variety of birdlife and kangaroos and nature walks. Wake up to the sounds of birds and frogs in the valley, and breathe in the clean air of forest and sea. We grow our own organic veggies, fruit, hops and enjoy a balance of work, hobby farming and play.  We are close (15 minutes drive) to the stunning south coast beaches and Greens Pool, with nature walks on our property. We offer accommodation for a single or couple in a WWOOFers private caravan which is separate from the house and is under cover, dry, clean and cosy. No children or pets, and strictly non-smoking.

‘Yulunga’ is an eco-arts community in the lush hills of Barkersvale, an hour inland from Byron Bay, near Nimbin & Lismore. Yulunga faces the Border Ranges NP & is surrounded by subtropical rainforests, native animals and amazing birdlife. Our community consists of organic gardens, exotic fruit orchards, musicians, artists, environmental activists & passionate gardeners. WWOOFer volunteering includes tending gardens, orchards, building & nursery work. You can swim in the local creek after work. We welcome earthy, hardworking & self-motivated people. Accommodation is for 1-3 in our home or in a shack with own outdoor kitchen. Vegetarians and Vegans can be catered for. We usually negotiate length of stays after an initial visit of 2-3 days. We can pick up from Nimbin or possibly arrange pick up from Lismore.

The reason I joined WWOOF is that we want to create a family in Australia first.I want to have a family-like relationship with my host family by helping with agriculture and living together. And I want to make my host family's place like a second house where I can go back anytime.Secondly, I want to spend time in a place rich in nature.I go to school by bus with many people every day and live a time-bound life, so I want to have a relaxing time with abundant nature.Third, I want to know the attractions of Australia that real Australians recommend. It's my first time going to Australia, and I can only gather information about Australian food and tourist attractions online.I would like you to tell me the recommended food and sightseeing spots from a local host family's point of view.I want to actually eat and go somewhere. If I'm going all the way to Australia, I want to have a different experience.I wanted to experience not only sightseeing but also the real life of Australians.

I aim to improve my English skills during my university life. For this purpose, I thought it would be effective to go abroad and interact with the local people. In addition to that, I am good at working in agriculture. I have been helping my grandmother work the fields since I was a little girl. I also love nature and interacting with animals, so I will do my best in my work.

I joined Wwoof to hoppefully find a host who can accommodate my lifstyle. I've got into Fifo to try and make my dream become a reality. It definitely has the potential to, but I'm starting to really miss having a place to ground myself with working the land, being around animals, and with indivduals that share a certain perspective. I enjoy working hard for an honest, appreciative family. And at the end of it all being able to share and celebrate in the small but beautiful day to day parts of life.

During my 1-year stay in Australia I want to volunteer through WWOOF to truly immerse myself in Australian culture and connect with locals, rather than just staying in hostels in the cities. I’m excited to explore Australia’s nature and farm life while enhancing my farming and craft skills.

I joined WWOOF because of my love for Nature. I know my heart belongs in the forests, mountains and beaches of our beautiful planet. I hope to share of my Self and my wisdom with others and to be a source of abundance in the life of as many people as possible. I love organic food and healthy living and I believe that healthy food is medicine and can heal people on many levels. Joining WWOOF I hope to be able to travel around the country, to meet amazing people, to learn about growing organic food and about life itself and to be intimately connected with nature.

I joined WWOOF to reconnect with my roots in farm life and to learn more about sustainable agriculture. Growing up on a farm, I developed a love for nature, animals, and outdoor activities, which I want to deepen through hands-on experiences. I hope to contribute my skills, whether it’s physical tasks, caring for animals, or helping with daily farm operations. WWOOFing is also an opportunity for me to immerse myself in a new culture, meet like-minded people, and exchange knowledge. With my diverse professional background, I adapt quickly and enjoy discovering new ways of working and living. My English level is quite basic, as I learned it in school, but I am motivated to improve and communicate as best as I can. My goal is to leave a positive impact on the farms I visit while gaining valuable skills and memories to carry with me for life. Thank you for considering my profile I look forward to helping and learning from you!

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
