Three Gullies is a productive regenerative farm, producing beef and lamb, situated on Fairy Meadow Creek, on the foothills of Mount Fairy. We apply permaculture design principles in paddock and landscape design, with the goal of improving ecological services across the land scape. Three Gullies complements the application of these principles by applying holistic grazing as described by Allan Savory. There are six quality of life statements that are part of the Three Gullies Holistic Context and associated decision-making tools. All decisions to undertake activities or ventures at Three Gullies must align within this context. This is the tool we use to ensure value alignment and matching work ethic.

A former horse rider and animal lover, I'm looking for a WWOOFing experience in Australia to discover the local culture, meet Australians and travelers from around the world, and improve my English. After an unforgettable first WWOOFing experience on a horse ranch in California in 2017, I'd love to relive this incredible human adventure. I'm a motivated person, dedicated to my work, and always ready to learn and give my best

I am a 66-year-old living on a scenic farmlet of 22 acres located 12 kilometres west of Lakes Entrance. With a large garden that encompasses vegetables, herbs, berries, an olive grove, and an orchard; it is a haven for a huge variety of native birds. I also have about a dozen hens, a rather noisy rooster, an aging horse, a dog and, at times, some neighbour’s sheep. Work varies from helping in the gardens/orchard, planting/harvesting the vegetables, wood chopping, weed control using non chemical methods and odd jobs. I do not actually practise permaculture but make my own compost and soil.  At one end of the property is a bush gully that abounds with local wildflowers and native animals; this is a corridor between the State Forest and the wetlands on the edge of the Gippsland Lakes. Being located near the Lakes also means it is close to the Ninety Mile Beach.

We joined WWOOF to experience the real Australia by living and working with locals. We want to learn new skills, discover sustainable lifestyles, and connect with people along the way. We are travelling on a tight budget, so WWOOFing also helps us with accommodation while allowing us to contribute and learn in return. It’s the perfect way for us to live meaningful experiences, share good moments, and grow during our journey.

On this WWOOFING journey I wish to achieve growth. I wish to learn by others before me and experience different lifestyles. I intend to learn about agriculture, fermentation, animals, farming, plant farming, anything related to an earthy lifestyle I am here to learn more about and experience. I hope to meet new people, stumble upon unexpected guidance, laugh with strangers, laugh with new found friends. I hope to tell peoples stories through photography, or document how the farming, outdoors lifestyle feels and what one might seek within. I hope to grow. My intention for this journey is to be open, say yes to opportunities, explore, connect, learn, be with myself in silence, allow myself to get to know myself in a new environment, around and with new people of a different cultures, beliefs and ideologies. I am excited to spend time outside, helping someone manage their farm, being away from my phone and be here now. I enjoy yoga, but this is for me a chance to explore the means of meditation and being here now, in this experience. I have been blessed before with trust from a host, and I cant wait to get to know even more people, and this time truly be able to give back with love for their farm in any shape or from. I have grown up with dogs and feel connected to animals on every level. Just as much as trees haha. This past year our family dog passed and thus we had to find a new home for our young husky. I am so happy we found a great home for her, but it has been empty without any animals at home. So I am looking forward to hopefully be close to animals again and learn about the animal life on farms!

At 25, I’ve lived a few different lives in France, each one teaching me something valuable. Now, I’m ready for the next chapter, and it’s centered around a few key aspects: Social Aspect: For my personal balance and growth, I’m looking to build stronger social connections with people who share the same values as I do. Wwoofing really resonates with me – the respect for the environment, living in community, and being partly self-sufficient when it comes to energy and resources. It’s all about working and living in a way that’s meaningful and ethical, and I’m excited to be part of that. Professional Aspect and Lifestyle: The different experiences wwoofing offers will help shape my long-term goal of working directly with the land. I’m after something real and hands-on, closer to nature. I’m eager to pick up new skills, challenge myself, and get a feel for what goes into managing different types of farms and sustainable setups. It’s all about doing work that supports the preservation of ecosystems and stepping into the ecological and energy transition we need.

After 10+ years in the finance industry i felt like a change, it was not something i wanted to do for the next 10 years of my life. I have a passion for travelling and meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I have a strong interest now in becoming Self-sufficient as much as possible and living in communities. I left my company in January this year and have been living on an organic farm in Yeppoon, Woofing which has been great. I've developed a strong interest in learning more about permaculture, Bio-dynamics and syntropic farming. I'm now looking to increase my knowledge in these areas by visiting different farms/communities to learn more. I had never heard of Woofing before this year and it's opened my eyes to a whole new world. I feel the idea of Woofing's is incredible as I've realized in my few months on this farm the amount of work that's put in. looking forward to the next adventure.

Here is 5 reasons why we want to do Woofing 1. Discovery of local culture:Woofing allows us to live with Australian families and share their way of life, cuisine, and traditions, providing an authentic cultural experience. 2. Practice English: Since Australia is an English-speaking country, Woofing is an excellent opportunity to improve our English by using it daily. 3. Connection with nature: Australia is renowned for its exceptional natural beauty. By participating in Woofing, we can work outdoors, explore local wildlife and flora, and contribute to environmental preservation. 4. Travel savings: Accommodation and food are typically provided in exchange for our work as Woofers, significantly reducing our travel expenses. 5. Agriculture expérience: we are interested in agriculture, gardening, and animal husbandry, Woofing offers us practical experience in these fields while allowing us to travel. All these advantages make Woofing in Australia a culturally and personally enriching experience for us.

To learn and help out on country properties. To experience organic/biodynamic farm life. I had a friend on a sheep farm in Lara when I was at high school and I always loved going to stay there. I enjoy volunteering and have done quite a lot of it.

Originally when I joined WWOOF in NZ it was a mixture of wanting to take care of land with people, the daydream of doing permaculture from a yurt tent, an interest in food forests and a meaningful way to see the country on a scooter trip. The people I met were interesting. As for gardening you realise how important the basics are. I'll start looking for people that need compost and pruning assistance around September. This time I'm initially looking to travel be train and bus (part of the reason for this I joined a tour through Uzbekistan desert for a previous holiday and it was a real eye opener). Another reason I'm doing this is, learning from peoples experience on how they make things work is really helpful.

I would love to volunteer in a farm. I like to learn new things and cultures, to live new experiences and to help. I did volunteering in cultural festivals in France and in a op shop in Australia. I would like to learn about organic farm, to help Hosts on their properties and to acquire new skills.

I joined WWOOF because I thought it was a great opportunity to experience life abroad on my own, even as a student. Some of my friends had also participated and shared many wonderful stories that inspired me. I also love nature and breathtaking landscapes, so WWOOF felt like the perfect choice for me.

Pucker Farm Animal Sanctuary - Over 100 farm animals get to roam free over 138 acres for most of the year with me there to be there safety net. Most of the animals '- over 90 sheep, donkeys, horses, cows, pigs, a goat, maremma dogs, ducks, chickens, alpaca, turkeys are very friendly & the property is elevated and has good views, with the old farmhouse dated back to pioneering days built with bricks from the clay off the property. Its a magical place and you can tell from how relaxed the animals are. It's only 60kms from Wave Rock - a big tourist draw-card.

We are a small scale farm located within the swan valley 25 min drive from Perth. Our primary area of farming is animal husbandry. We have cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens that we feed and look after daily. We also farm fruit and veg and produce wood fired bread that we sell at our weekend market stall at the front of our property.

The Avocado Tree Farm is an 80 acre, certified organic avocado farm located in the Mary Valley, Queensland. We - John and Julia Tidy are the owners and live here with our 21 year old son, Nic, and our 19 year old daughter, Catherine. We have two kelpie dogs, Pip and Evie. We also run sheep, cattle and chickens. There is a tiny home and a cabin on the property which we Airbnb. Should you be interested in helping on our farm, your accommodation would either be in the house or a room a short distance from the house. Both have their own en-suites. Duties are varied and could include: helping on the orchard, picking and packing avocados, gardening, mowing, whipper-snipping and cleaning. John and Julia love to get to know their guests and are very welcoming as they have travelled in the past.
