i am hoping to spend most of this year on the move, making my way towards Darwin where my brother is staying. my aim is to come to understand Australia by its land and i think that wwoofing is an excellent way to move about the country while getting to know it from the locals like yourselves and not being restricted to some of the urban hubs. i love to work outside and with my hands weather its working on the land or making a space look beautiful.

I want to learn about permaculture and enjoy cultural exchange. And I want to become fluent in English. I hope to achieve adopting sustainable lifestyle. I want to live in a way that doesn’t harm the Earth. I don’t want to hurt other beings or nature by focusing only on human comfort. I absolutely love surfing and spending time in nature. I deeply respect the Earth, which constantly gives us wonder, challenges, and joy. Even if I can’t change the world overnight, I want to start with myself and my surroundings, learning and practicing what I can. I believe that what’s healthy for the body is also kind to the Earth and animals, and that it can be a source of positive energy.

Please don't come to us directly from overseas or if you are ill, as I am in the high risk group for respiratory problems. WWOOFers must be prepared to work independently at times. No smokers. Minimum stay 2 weeks. We prefer longer stays by WWOOFers with a genuine interest in agriculture. Initial contact by email, please. WiFi unlimited. If no answer leave a message slowly, stating your name and number and we will get back to you. We want to leave our land in a lot better state than we found it. We are supporters of the Tasmanian Land Conservancy and The Bob Brown Foundation which both preserve old growth forests and special areas of value to flora, fauna and eco-systems. In the long term we are looking for someone to park a tiny house on the property and take over all the gardens, land and animals to allow us more freedom to travel and spend time with our families but still have somewhere to call home.

So far, I have been an au pair for two different families at the East coast of Australia for a couple of months. Now I would like to gain the experience of living on a real Australian farm and learn something from my hosts! I'm used to common gardening like mowing, trimming, weeding, chaffing and chopping wood. I know the basics on how to behave around animals and I'm comfortable with bigger animals as well.

Our property is situated in Geeveston in the Huon Valley. Our 70acre property/farm sanctuary is close to great bush walks and within walking distance to town and buses to Hobart. We rescue and look after a menagerie of animals. At this point we have: chickens, roosters, ducks, pigs, alpacas, goats, sheep, ponies, geese and cows. We are in the process of establishing our property on permaculture principles, and regenerating the land so we can look after more animals in need. Accommodation is seperate from our home and includes: 3 bedrooms, all sharing a kitchen, loungeroom, 2 toilets and 2 showers (one with a bath). We have dinner together most week nights and you cook your own on the weekends.

Three Gullies is a productive regenerative farm, producing beef and lamb, situated on Fairy Meadow Creek, on the foothills of Mount Fairy. We apply permaculture design principles in paddock and landscape design, with the goal of improving ecological services across the land scape. Three Gullies complements the application of these principles by applying holistic grazing as described by Allan Savory. There are six quality of life statements that are part of the Three Gullies Holistic Context and associated decision-making tools. All decisions to undertake activities or ventures at Three Gullies must align within this context. This is the tool we use to ensure value alignment and matching work ethic.

A former horse rider and animal lover, I'm looking for a WWOOFing experience in Australia to discover the local culture, meet Australians and travelers from around the world, and improve my English. After an unforgettable first WWOOFing experience on a horse ranch in California in 2017, I'd love to relive this incredible human adventure. I'm a motivated person, dedicated to my work, and always ready to learn and give my best

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
