Short Property Description
I am an artist and live in a large suburban home on the corner of a main road, 25 min train ride to city. There are 3 people living here at the moment (my son and 1 tenant).
Volunteering includes help with vege garden and general gardening, odd jobs around the house and help with various art projects. Cooking welcome.
We also have a small cottage by the river in the countryside (about 1 hour away) which often needs raking, general tidying and help with little building projects.
Accommodation for 2 people in spare room or cosy converted garage. Children b.a. Mixed diet. Cannot take WWOOFers from April-October.
Organic/Biological methods we use
We don’t have a farm, just a big vegetable garden which we maintain organically.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I enjoy having travellers stay with me who are open to meeting local families and helping out in different supportive ways. I also appreciate any help I get because I run the whole house/garden mostly on my own and I try to keep it as sustainable and organic as I can. (My home is an old one and not that sustainable, energy wise – but I try!). I appreciate help around the house so that I have more time to do my artwork as I always feel time-poor.
