I joined WWOOF because I love the opportunity to stay at many different places where I get to learn new skills and meet new people that normal tourists don’t get to see. I can work with animals, help in the garden or on big farm lands. I love the idea of staying and helping somewhere for a few days or weeks and being able to travel on quicker. It gives me the ability to see more of the country and it’s lifestyle. My goal is to try out as many things as I can and learn more while traveling up the east coast.

I joined WWOOF as a way to meet more like minded people and see more of Australia. Also, I have a big interest in conservation (I have recently applied for a masters program titled : Science Communication for a Better Planet) and would love to learn more from people who are living lives so close to nature. I hope to learn more about different land management practices and see the differences in land needs in Australia compared to home.

I want to live more sustainably in a way that truly works for the planet, myself and others. I want to learn how to grow more nutrient dense food for less money and more self/communal sufficiency. Also curious about natural building and low impact/high air quality shelters. Designing Sustainable solutions in alignment with natures principles. Also want to spend more time with people on a similar bandwidth as myself.

Skills I Want to Learn:
Having grown up in the countryside, I'm no stranger to outdoor work and caring for animals. Whether it's tending to the land or looking after furry friends, I find solace and joy in nature's embrace. In my day-to-day life, I work in the field of event management, with a particular passion for organizing sports events. There's something exhilarating about bringing people together through the power of sports. When I'm not immersed in the world of events, you'll likely find me lacing up my running shoes and hitting the trails. WWOOFing presents an incredible opportunity for me to not only contribute but also to learn from the local community, sharing experiences, and fostering meaningful connections along the way. I'm someone who thrives on meaningful interactions and cherishes the opportunity to exchange ideas, beliefs, and experiences with others. With an open mind and a curious spirit, I'm ready to embrace every moment of this adventure, soaking in the diversity of Australian life and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Looking forward to meeting you soon and embarking on this journey together!

I wanted to spend in the natural syrroundings of Australia, and I wanted to know how they work and live. For instance, what kind of insects are there, how much pollen is there, what time do they wake up and go to bed,how hard is the job?My grand mother and climers arround me offen talk about vegetables and flowers they grow in their homes, but I don't have my field so I couldn't empathize.

I've come over to Australia for a change of scenery and to gain some new experiences. I'm just finishing working for a few months in Birdsville which gave me a real taste of the outback and what living in Australia can be like so I'm looking for more chances to connect with people and give back. I'm not afraid of hard work and throw myself into everything I do and can learn quickly.

Nature has always been a soft spot for me, especially farms. Growing up, my parents loved bringing my sister & I to farmstays on our travels. We don't have these where I come from and when I was younger, my dream job was to actually become a farmer! Through WWOOF, I hope to fulfil this dream and learn about farming, culture and meet lovely people from around the world.
