I am an environmentally friendly person, and interested in a sustainable way of living in general. Since I've been in Perth now for two months, I'd like to discover more of the Australian countryside, and gain some knowledge about farming.

I am a very friendly girl, I want to meet people and to share about your culture and mine. I am open mind, I am simple and very easy. I am a respectful people. I love to do couch surfing for example because I can share and exchange with Australian people. I speak about my country, my experience and I am very happy to hear my host explain their experience. We always shared goods moments. We cooked and often, they show me wonderful landscape near from the house, not touristic. I am looking for authenticity. By doing WWOOF, I can be and live with local people, I can meet new people and I can learn about your culture. I can give my time for people, i love to help people, that's why i am a nurse in France too. I think WWOOF is really good thing. It is help to help.

I decided to join WWOOF because suburban life just doesn’t satisfy me anymore. I’d like to join a farm to learn more about nurturing nature and growing my own food.

I will be traveling to Australia for two months beginning in early February. I had a great experience WWOOFing in New Zealand. It was a great opportunity to really get to know the people and place of the land. I enjoy working and have found staying on a place and helping others out is a great way to have a travel adventure. Much more satisfying than just moving from place to place without any context. I have carpentry skills which have been useful to my hosts in the past. I also like to help out in the kitchen preparing food and helping out with what needs to be done.

I live in the middle of the city centre and have neither a balcony nor a garden. I miss nature and animals! I am sure that experiences of this kind will take me further both private and at work. I would like to turn off the city and turn on the country to calm down again. Especially today, it is important to me to live more sustainably and to exemplify this to the children. The current environmental situation scares me and I hope I can contribute something positive to it.

Ever since I was little, I have lived a natural life. As for work, I was doing organic farming and organic related work. I am interested in organic farming and would like to deepen my knowledge. I would like to have my own organic farm in the future. I also want to know the difference between Japan and overseas. I also want to interact with people from various countries and deepen friendships.

As previously mentioned, it has always been a dream of mine to work on a farm in Australia after watching a lot of movies about this country in my childhood. I figured Australia (and New Zealand as well) might be the exact experience that I have been looking for since quite a while. What makes it special to me is mostly the combination of staying at a host family, while also helping them with their farm duties and getting into contact with horses. I also expect from my stay to only work with horses as my main task and only secondly, get to know more about planting seeds as this part would be hard for me to transfer onto my current life in the city and after working in Switzerland while moving between cities. Apart from that, I would also be open to work in a vinery as my dad is a well-recognized winemaker and I also had an interest in finding out what he sees in this work. Finally, I am as I mentioned open to many things, so in case the horse show jumping does not work out I am still willing to clean the stables and saddles (and whatever it takes to make the horses feel at home). All in all, my other big wish/hope is to live with a family that mostly also looks out for harmony and a lunch or dinner together, to chat and tell each other more about the cultures that we both live in and maybe even about faith as I lately frequently went to church with my mum. Lastly, I also need my personal space quite a lot after the student housing crisis in Groningen, so I would mostly like to have my own large room and a bathroom connected to it( in case that is possible). Otherwise, I can't wait to spend a lot of my time outside as you will be having quite a warmer temperature then we do at the moment in Germany.

For new experiences, to live a different lifestyle and to meet new, interesting and diverse people. WWOOFing keeps me young and connected with nature. I also feel I have a lot to offer my hosts beyond just physical labour.

We want to learn more about organic/biodynamic farming, permaculture and living sustainably on the land, so that we can utilise that knowledge when we have our own land. We are excited to help others with their hobby farms and or businesses whilst we learn from them. We are also city dwellers who love getting out of the city and spending time in nature.

I uphold WWOOF principles and values, and permaculture ways of living. My earlier WWOOF days are dear to my heart. I learned so much and engaged in wonderful communities. I loved witnessing people and families pursuing their dreams in lifestyle, home buildings, sharing and growing.

Skills I Want to Learn:
I am studying agriculture at a university in Japan, so I think I want to experience Australian agriculture in an Australian farmhouse.

In Japan, I did not usually have the opportunity to farm and it was mainly classroom learning, so I want to learn about the difficulties of farming, the attractions of farming, and the farming process in Australia.

I would like to learn about the differences between Australian and Japanese agriculture, and after coming back to Japan, I would like to utilize what I have learned in Australia in my research at a Japanese university.

Through these volunteer activities, I would also like to improve my English skills and become a person who can contribute to solving agricultural problems and developing agriculture internationally.

Dear esteemed members of Wwoof, I am writing to express my strong interest in joining Wwoof as a volunteer. For the past 22 years, I have been a devoted follower of Tenrikyo, a religion originating from Japan, and my family belongs to a Tenrikyo church. Guided by the principle of "By helping others, we help ourselves," I have always strived to assist those in need. Having recently arrived in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, I have made the firm decision to participate in Wwoof and embark on a journey of personal growth through volunteer activities alongside new international comrades. At my age in my twenties, I possess the vitality and resilience to tackle challenges with confidence. Therefore, I am eager to actively engage in new ventures and gain valuable experiences. My objectives for this endeavor are to foster deeper connections with fellow volunteers and local individuals through Wwoof's volunteer work, improve my English language skills, and achieve personal development. I wholeheartedly resonate with Wwoof's remarkable commitment to contributing to local communities and the environment. It is my sincere desire to leverage my skills and experiences to make a meaningful impact alongside Wwoof. I approach the prospect of being a part of Wwoof with great enthusiasm and dedication. I kindly request the opportunity to contribute as a member and eagerly anticipate the experiences that lie ahead. Thank you for considering my application. Yours sincerely,

We both worked in an office back home and we really want to try a new professional experience and take this opportunity here in Australia. We are both very much environmentally-concerned and would be happy to see how we could make an impact by working in the agricultural area.
