I am on a mission to find a luxury organic coastal farm with super modern architecture where we can grow hundreds+ of different types of organic fruit and vegetables near a white sand beach with 25-30 degrees Celsius šŸļø turquoise blue ocean and an infinity pool overlooking big coastal mountains that are fun to hike daily.

I want to work outdoors, meet interesting people and learn more about different ways of farming. I really enjoy some manual work sometimes and just love being on farm.

I would like to live with a family, improve my language and get to know life next to backpackers. I think it's a great offer to create an offer in addition to the normal "work and travel", also for older people

Skills I Want to Learn:
My general motivation is learning. I would like to get to know different cultures, lifestyles, attitudes and also the skills to run a garden because this is my ultimate dream in life. I like to spend time outside in nature, take care of animals, or just sit in the grass and enjoy bird songs, and all of that combined is the reason why I choose to woof.

I would love to meet and learn from people who are growing their own food, raising animals and living on the land. I am interested in agroecology and community sufficiencyƧ

While working for a large corporation in an industrial area of Canberra, I noticed a large, bare patch of ground that seemed to be going to waste. I approached management about the possibility of setting up of a staff garden, providing them with the benefits this would bring, including on-site composting, team-building, staff morale, and growing produce. I worked with professionals to plan and set up the garden with vegetable beds, compost bins and a central shaded/sheltered area for group meetings, along with indoor compost bins for every kitchen. I set up a working group, organised education sessions with various experts, learned about companion planting, planned working bees, rosters, harvest days, and lunches using produce we'd grown. This was such a rewarding project, and I loved learning from other people, being productive and spending time outdoors being active.

I would like to use the gap in between jobs and take the opportunity to volunteer and also learn something from organic farms. My current job is in pharma industry in a medium sized corporation. I started this job right after college and I feel that I need a change of scenery as the corporate culture is not something I currently align with. I believe that WWOOF can help me broaden my perspective on work and life in general as well as help me get in touch with more nature in my life :).

I joined because WWOOFing has been recommended by my mum who has done this 30 odd years ago. She told me it was a great way to meet new people and experience new things which I am all for! By joining I hope to open up a new alleyway to different experiences which I might not usually have the opportunity to back home. I also see it as a great way to learn new skills and a different way of life as a whole.

To discover new cultures, learn about life outside France and enrich our experience. Talk to local people and show off our French know-how. Get out of the city and experience real Australian life

I personally really like farming, but I'm not the best at it, so I'm hoping to learn some new skills (not just about farming). I see this as a really good opportunity to travel around Australia and meet new people and locals.

Over the past three years, my focus has been on studying wine in Japan. While pursuing my studies, I aimed not only to understand the academic aspects but also to know the minds of the creators. I want to understand their passion, philosophies, and unique styles. I had the chance to stay at some wineries last year. Gaining experience with a different climate, environment, and team from last year is very exciting to me and I am looking forward to continuing my winemaking journey.

I am in the process of renewing my visa and I would like to use my 88 days to do something beneficial for the country. Bushfires are on a significant increase and this is bad for the country surrounded by so much nature, just like my home country, and so I would like to use these days that I need to do to help.

My sister and some cousins have done WWOOFing, and they all had a good experience, which confirms my choice. It's also the best way to immerse oneself in a country with a different culture.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
