A great way to travel, meet the locals, help out on the farms, bond as a family and learn lots of new things. I have been in the international organic trade of fresh fruit and veg. An opportunity to learn more about the actual production.

We both love living on the countryside and doing farmwork. We heard about this through another wwoofer who loved it, so that made us curious as well. We hope to stay in a nice and clean room, and we love to cook so we hope we can help out with that as well.

I am travelling and WWOOFing in Australia this year as part of my travel package with the American Institute of Foreign Studies (AIFS). I am looking forward to experiencing Australian life.

My grandfather was a and I have been interested in farming since I was a child. I would like to do work related to agriculture in the future. I want to develop my farming skills and learn how Australian farmers think. I also interested in organic faming. Because my grandfather tried to grow rice without pesticides. I would like to start thinking about what kind of farming I would ideally like to do in the future. And I believe that Japan's agricultural population is currently declining and that Japanese agriculture needs to change in the future. I want to learn about the differences between Japanese and Australian agriculture. I want to learn about agriculture but also to connect with my family. I want to share my Japanese culture and learn about Australian culture. I would be really happy living in Australia, blending in with nature.

I wish to do wwoofing for many reasons, I like this system of exchange of services and I find that sharing the daily life of people is a wonderful way to discover a country! I am also very interested in learning more, whatever tasks you need. I really want to do something with my hands, After spending years to learn and study. I'm particularly searching for outdoor jobs! I worked at a seafood company in Melbourne for 4 month. I had WWOOF as an option even before I came to Australia. Because I'd like to learn and experience about Australian agriculture in the great nature. I want to work and live in the nature and get a lot of learning and inspiration. And also I want to cherish encounters and connections with people.

To learn more about animal care around the world and help locals in conservation during my travels. I am starting an internship in September and I wanted to work with some local farmers and animal people while exploring the wonders of North Queensland.

I want to take time out, and spend time on the land as they say. I am a hard worker and want to just come back to basics. As I said above, I love different cultures and would love to immerse myself in a different culture, perhaps learn a language - on a basic level. Meeting new people is always a good idea as well. I would love to find a day or two where I can enjoy the local area.

I hope to build family-like relationships with your hosts, experience life in nature, experience different aspects of life with your hosts, freshly picked vegetables & fruits! Delicious meals!

We want to work as volunteers in organic farm, helping people in their project and meeting locals who want to share a bit of their culture and habits with us. We also want to learn new skills from these works : organic gardening, permaculture, etc ... we are interested in discovering anything new !

My mother met my father woofing in New Zealand and she has always encouraged me to try it, saying it was a life changing experience. I hope to explore my interest in organic farming and deepen my experience with nature and see more of this beautiful country

Willing to work hard. I am 43 and I have decided to go on a long trip (6 months or 1 year) for the first time in my life, and I will do it in Australia. Memorable experiences, like working on a strawberry farm in Caboolture, Australia, increased my interest in how agriculture impacts daily life. This website now serves as a valuable tool for exploring how to make a societal contribution.

I would love to know more about farming and learn new things. It is the first time I'll come to Australia and I didn't wanted to just be a tourist, I would love to meet people as I'm traveling alone. I've spent over a year in California with a family and I kept very good relation with them, I'm going back after my trip in Australia.
