We have now entered Australia with a tourist visa for 3 months and looking for some great experiences you can just get “working”. We are keen to get in touch with the Aussie farm life and would like to know more about organic farming. We prefer cattle or horse farms as we love animals, but we would also go somewhere else. We also want to use the opportunity of WWOOF to save up a bit of money to keep on travelling through other countries after this. We can start ASAP and stay at your farm til end of Oktober (eventually a week longer).

I had a fantastic experience WWOOF-ing in Italy and think it is such a special way to experience a new country. I really love that WWOOF provides a platform to meet local people and volunteer for very meaningful causes! Another reason I signed up for WWOOF is because I am considering a permanent move to Australia, but want to live there short-term to see if it's a good fit for me before making a decision.

I needed a break from my studies, so I'm doing a gap year. During this year, I want to travel, discover new places, different ways of living and meeting people all around the world. Some friends told me about WWOOFing, I instantly loved the idea and wanted to participate, so now that I have my visa, I'm joining WWOOFers! I used to have a garden, and grow a lot of different fruits and vegetables but I had to move and now I'm in an apartment in a city, so I really miss gardening and the way I lived when I was in campaign, I'd be more than happy to help and work with organic farmers.

As mentioned above, I feel WWOOFing will complement my studies and my goal to find a job in Parks/Conservation while also learning some great sustainable living skills along the way. I read the Permaculture Designer's Manual many years ago, it is exciting to be picking up that thread again.

Translation: I would like to do something completely different and take a break. I would call myself an urban hermit since the pandemic changed my lifestyle. I was questioning about the matter of life during the dayssssssss and I realised the importance of caring for and protecting our planet. As a living, this is my responsibility to pick up those ambitions for our future generation. But sometimes, I feel hopeless and discouraged about our planet's dilemma, especially since I have been living in booming cities since I grew up. Luckily, I found WWOOF, which provides a golden opportunity for youngers to learn from those experts in sustainable living, to experience another way to live, and to explore another perspective of looking at the world. I can't wait to start my 49 days nomadic adventure, as being a shepherd is one of my childhood dreams. This is also a secret reason for me to study in Australia that I did not tell my aggressive parents. I feel relaxed and released when I immerse in nature - the greatest architecture in the world ever.

I've always wanted to live in a more reciprocal relationship with the earth. I joined Wwoof because I wanted to gain more skills about living in the country/bush, and particularly how to do so sustainably. I am passionate about environmental justice and decolonisation. Through Wwoofing I hope to meet more like-minded people that I can learn from.
