As I write this profile, I am WWOOFing in NZ with my partner (who will go back to Spain ahead of me while I stay on in Australia alone). WWOOFing seemed like a great way to learn different skills, but especially meet locals, and experience the country slow-traveling.

I already had an experience with WOOFF in Norway and had a great time. I think it is the best way to discover the Australian lifestyle and culture as I am truly in love with the nature and people of this country

because I've always heard about it and been attracted to it but never had the chance to experience it. Now that I'm in Australia and my goal is to improve my English knowing the country I think it's the perfect time.

I came to Australia on a working holiday, but I realized that I was too fixated on finding a job and making money. The original purpose of this program is not to make money, but to interact with people and have experiences that you cannot have in your own country. I joined WWOOF to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and experience a lifestyle that is completely different from what I had in Japan. I would like to get tips and inspiration for my life and career that would help me after I return to Japan.

One of my biggest goals in this gap year is to meet new people and discover their lifestyle, what they enjoy and what they love doing, having done WWOOFIN before I find it to be the perfect way to achieve that goal.

I'm eager to do woofing at a horse riding center because I used to ride horses during my childhood and adolescence, and I would love to reconnect with that. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to pursue my passion during my studies, which is why I want to get back into this sport that I miss!

I wanted to work in an english speaking country in a natural environment. I'm also interested in learning about organic farming because I want to improve the quality of my food. I think WWOOF is one of the best way to share new cultural experiences while being helpful.

For the first time in life i become a WWoofer! Yesss! I never worked on a farm, but i have a great need to be outside and breathe fresh air, love animals, and have no problems by working hard. When i was young, my aunt and uncle did have a farm with chickens and cows and every holiday i wanted to sleep over at their place and spend my days at the farm. I have 3 months to spend in Australia and i am very excited to really meet Australian people and their way of living! I choose to become a wwoofer to really indulge myself into the australian way of living. I would love to meet families and probably make some new friends! I would love to learn about farmwork and get inspired by the way of farming (to live more self-sufficient when possible in the future), or help out others by working at their homes. I would like to get in contact with Hosts who can make you feel at home, who are excited to welcome and coach wwoofers and take time to get to know eachother.

In my search for opportunities to work abroad and I Australia in particular, I came across WWOOF through an acquaintance of my father and the way it was set up appealed to me immediately. The possibilities are very extensive and the approach to the type of farms also appeals to me. I also believe that the culture suits me as a person.
