I hope to find a friendly family and would love to gain new experiences in Australia. I'm also really interested inin Farmwork and also trying to learn to skills in any area. I used to be in the garden a lot in my hometown back in Germany. The only place I have worked at so far though was at a bakery and café.

We joined WWOOF as we are travelling around Australia for three years and we are hoping to learn more about organic farming, permaculture, biodynamics and self-sufficiency as we go. We also want to give our children (who have mostly been raised in the city) the experience of life on a farm, a greater connection to nature, an opportunity to build greater resilience, and an appreciation for where their food comes from and the importance of supporting sustainable agricultural practices. We also love the idea of being able to give back by working in various capacities on different farms and helping to spread the message about the importance of organic, sustainable and regenerative farming, with a view to being part of the change that we'd like to see in the world.

Never having done volunteer work, I want to jump at the challenge of trying something I've never done before. WWOOFing will give me the opportunity to escape the city, whilst not only learning new things and bettering myself, but also putting my hands to work to help others.

I want to become part of the WWOOF community because I want to experience a new and exciting adventure and break out of my comfort zone. For me, WWOOF is the best way to achieve this goal because it combines my love for nature and animals with my interest in meeting new people and cultures. I hope to find a warm host family who will integrate me into their everyday life and work on the farm so that I can gain an insight into the Australian way of life and traditions. I am looking forward to helping local farmers with tasks such as harvesting fruits and vegetables, taking care of the animals, or doing household work. I like to learn new things, so I hope the hosts will show and teach me many things on the farm, so I can learn a lot about organic farming. Of course, I would also like to improve my language skills.

I like to work on farms and be in nature. As I want to study agriculture afterwards, WWOOFing is a great opportunity to get experience, which I can use then. I also like the exchange between people, getting to know the country and its locals.

Even though i didn't grow up in a rural area, i have always enjoyed spending time in the nature. My grandparents own a cabin a few kilometers away from my hometown, including a fish pond and a small forrest. Growing up, i spent most of my weekends there, feeding the fish and chickens, working in the woods with my grandfather and planting potatoes in a small field. After gathering some information about WWOOF, i was confident it would be a good option for my work and travel stay in Australia.

I’m joining WWOOF because it will allow me to experience life in a rich manner. It will allow me to become more in touch with the earth and the things that really matter to me: living clean and healthy, working hard, making friends, giving back.
