Since I was very young I always knew, that I wanted to experience going to another country all on my own for an extended time period. Now that I`ve graduated it´s time to make that dream a reality. Through an acquaintance I learned about WWOOF.

I joined WOOFF because I've heard very good things about it and reported valuable experiences. Participating in WOOFF can be a good opportunity to learn several different agricultural jobs, gain new skills, make friends, learn how agriculture (mainly organic) is done here in Australia and be able to contribute by exchanging experiences in the agricultural area. Also, through WWOOF I have the chance to meet local people, get closer to Australia's nature and wildlife and learn to do lots of new things!

There are three main reasons. Firstly, I’m currently in cairns north. (I stayed in a cheap hostel, but I would like to move out here. )I came to Australia yesterday as a working holiday student. And now I am having trouble deciding where to work. Secondly, My purpose of this working holiday is to experience new things and meet new people and see and touch a lot of animals. Working on a farm is something I have very little experience, so it’s new to me. And farmer’s works are closer to the nature things, so I’m so interested in them. Finally, this is the second time that I came to Australia. The first time I spent three days with a family in Sydney. I mowed the grass, took care of many dogs. That was a good days for me and I thought that I wanted to do more farm work.

I joined WWOOF because I believe it is the perfect opportunity to embrace my love for nature and authentic, simple living. The city and suburban life does not fulfill as much as the wholesome nature of the Earth.

I joined WWOOF to learn about organic farming and also to meet new people doing interesting things. To travel across Australia in a sustainable way and to also see the country off of the beaten path in my free time. I also enjoy working outdoors.

It's fairly simple: to learn, and to be of service. Secondarily, though, I find that volunteering in different places helps me become immersed in a culture more deeply, rather than participating in surface-level tourism.

I have been a WWOOF member previously, and had the most amazing experiences, with hosts in locations such as North QLD and Kangaroo Island. I would love to visit new places and meet more lovely hosts, and help out in their homes/on their farm/land/garden etc - I'm great at mucking in. No job is too big or too small! I am particularly interested in any volunteering opportunities, as I would now like to go travelling with the intention to learn about other cultures, and help people, especially in regional areas.

I think WWOOFING is a great way to see the world while also pursuing my goals as a farmer. I feel farming is a career where no matter how much you think you know there is always more to learn. Through wwoofing sharing knowledge and experience with others makes us all better farmers.

My friend told me WWOOF system and how nice it was. So, I got interested in WWOOF and wanted to learn about Australia culture. Also, I will be doing some work related to urban development overseas next year. However, I've never been abroad. I would like to experience a lot of life abroad during my last summer vacation as a student!

We are given 3 months to discover Australia, we think that WWOOF is a great option to reach our purpose. Furthermore, it is a great way to discover how farms work out of our country.

I join wwoof in the hope of being able to work on a farm or animal park. I would like to discover the Australian countryside rather than the din of big cities. It's an experience I really want to do in Australia.

We are joining WWOOF because we are actively searching for ways to live our lives more naturally and sustainably. An important addition to this is that WWOOFing also provides the perfect opportunity to better ourselves through travelling and meeting new people, whilst gaining valuable experience and knowledge in different ways of farming. Also, we feel WWOOFing could be a perfect gateway into potential future careers within the sustainable farming world.

We like to share experiences with the people living in the country that we have the chance to visit. To us, working and staying with locals seems like the best way to discover a new part of the world. We would like work and stay in a quiet and kids-friendly environment
