I am eager to get to know all of the fascinating animals, beautiful landscapes and -of course- help you guys wherever you might need it. Besides, it is an amazing opportunity to help local farms shaping a greener lifestyle, connecting with nature and meet some amazing people.

[Reason for coming to Australia]I work as a videographer at my company in Japan. In 2023 I came to Australia with a working holiday visa.I'm on the move because I've decided to work as a camera in Cairns. Therefore, I am looking for a farmer who can help 2-7 days.【Reasons for joining WWOOF】I love animals and plants, so I wanted to work on a farm. But I have to go to Cairns so I have only a little time left.A few days I will do my best to help you.[What I want to achieve with wwoof]I like animals, so I'd be happy if I could take care of them.

I would love to experience life in Australia and meet Australians. I have joined wwoof because I got to meet amazing families when I wwoofed in new zealand (10 years ago now) who I still keep in touch with and they have come to visit me. I enjoy meeting new people and going new places and find that when wwoofing you can meet people that live in the country and are keen to share (not that there's anything wrong with meeting fellow backpackers but as I'm in my 30s I prefer the country life and not the party scene)

For the experience to learn a few things about organic practice and sustainability, and hopefully off-grid living etc. I would like to WWoof in Tasmania, learn about the land and how to take care of it. I am interested in learning about animal husbandry, nurturing animals and alternative veterinary practice for small farms.

We want to collect as many experiences and memories as possible during our stay. Getting to know the locals and nature of Australia is the reason we travelled here. We prefer staying in the countryside over a busy city.

This year I've been living with my grandmother and now I'm sharing with some young people. I've lived in Paris, then in the Paris suburbs, and I've had the opportunity to travel a lot with my family, all over the world, since I was very young, including Morocco, the United States, Portugal, Greece, Scotland, England, Senegal, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and even Turkey. I love travelling, learning about new cultures, languages, landscapes and air, so I can see myself going abroad on my own. I'm planning to take a year off, to slow down my studies, work on myself, my relationship with others, learn a language and spend more time in contact with nature. I'm looking to develop in peace and quiet, learn about life on the other side of the world and cultivate myself. This would allow me to be freer in my intentions.

I really want to experience the real Australian everyday life and talk to the Australians. I'm also really keen on farm work. If I only sleep in hostels, I don't get enough contact with Australians, so I would rather stay with them and make the best experiences I coud ever get.

For my upcoming trip to Australia, I've registered with WWOOF with the desire to immerse myself in Australian agriculture and local culture. While touring tourist spots can be fun, I wish to deeply connect with the local culture during my youth. Especially at my age, I believe that engaging in new cultures and ways of life can broaden my horizons and deepen my understanding. I'm looking forward to gaining new knowledge and experiences in agriculture under different climates and environments in the vast land of Australia.

I love nature and want to learn English, so when I heard that Australia had such a program, I was very interested. My job in Japan is working in the kitchen, so I also handle foodstuffs and am interested in food. I am also interested in animal husbandry. I joined the program because I wanted to help in any way I could.

26 years ago my mum was, just like me, traveling in Australia and she was, for a long time, working on a farm...so I kinda wanted to try to work on a farm as well. Also I really like to be in the nature, like going hiking or mushroom picking... My mum is born in Slowakia and ther is a farm we are visiting (and helping out) every time we're there...so the farm work is not completely new to me.

I like meeting new people and hearing their stories, helping out and just have a good time. I would like to do something meaningful with my time and broaden my world. I like to be physically active during the day and think that wwoofing is a nice way to do that.

We are hoping to connect to a local community through WWOOFing. We plan to spend 10-months in Australia, and want to get off the beaten track, which we hope to learn about from our hosts and fellow WWOOFers. Caleb and I (Ceilidh) both enjoy the satisfaction and tiredness that comes from working with our bodies, but also want to strike a generous work-life balance on our trip, leaving us time to eat well, read and enjoy the country.
