I'm saving for my own little patch of land to care for, I figure in helping others i am also helping myself! As I'm someone who likes to earn their keep, I feel I can kind of achieve a lot by joining the WWOOFing community. One I get to learn and help out and meet people and families and the other, I can keep saving along the way and build my knowledge and awareness with working in healthy ways with Nature.

This program creates an awesome opportunity to meet new people around the world while getting a local experience. We want to love and serve the people of Australia while we are here, and learn new skills! We both have a dream of one day having our own farm (whether it's a hobby farm or a career farm, we haven't quite decided), and WWOOFing can give us useful insight into farming and sustainable living.

I'm interested in meeting like minded people and learning new skills. I would like to purchase my own farm and would like to be more educated on what that might entail. This environment seems to provide this is a practical way from those actually doing it.

I would love to live new experiences, learn new skills and meet new people while discovering the beautiful landscapes of Australia. I care a lot about the food I eat and the environment, so I would be very happy to help and volunteer on an organic farm.

I joined WWOOF because good friends did it in New Zealand and I want to make that experience as well! I want to learn new things, further develop my skills and gain experience in different kinds of trades. I furthermore want to meet some people of the country I am traveling through and in best case gain some first hand knowledge. I also want to make myself useful and get to see things outside of the cities… a more authentic Australia.

I just love nature. I like feeling nature and bathing in the sun. Nature gives me happy. So,I think I need to protect natures. I want to learn overseas agriculture. So, I would like to apply what I learned to my life. I would like to brush up my English by WWOOF. I think I want to hard work and have a lot of experience with the hosts.

We are heading to Tasmania in April 2024 to have our baby! My mum lives in Hobart, so want to be in Tas for visits, but we are not city people anymore. Would love to find a farm or homestead where we can settle in and call home for the 3 months leading up to baby, and the first 3 months after (with a break in between at mum's place). Paul will be going through his spouse visa application, and we hope that after 6 months his bridging visa will be granted, allowing him to work. Hoping to wwoof for our food and lodging until then. Ideally, a farm looking to hire on an experienced farm hand would suit us, and we could transition from wwoofing to employee once he can work. This is a bit of a pipe dream though, we would also be happy just wwoofing for 6 months! If you'd like to have some longer term workers who are used to living simply and working hard, and you'd be comfortable being on the sidelines of this baby journey of ours, (and ideally have a seperate building for us to be in), we'd love to chat!

Growing up, I developed a strong interest in agriculture through my grandparents, who cultivated rice and vegetables. Their influence has sparked my passion for sustainable farming practices and environmental stewardship. I am eager to join WWOOF to gain hands-on experience, further develop my skills, and contribute to local communities. I look forward to embracing cultural exchange opportunities and am excited about the valuable experiences ahead.

Community is very important to me. I love learning about how other people live, and sharing ideas and energy. I have been wwoofing since 2019 and have enjoyed experiences as varied as tractor driving, dog walking, beekeeping, veg growing, bread making, and of course weeding! I enjoy travelling in a slow and meaningful way to learn more about a place.

Explore more on organic farming and lifestyle. I am also professional working on sustainability field in a business level. But I am keen to transform my lifestyle to organic way and live in a very different condition from life in city. I did experience 1 time like 15 years ago, but it was not really about working in the farm. I’d love to explore and experience real rural sustainable life in Australia.
