Skills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Biodynamics practices and techniques
I am joining WWOOF because I want to work as a volunteer and learn a new way of life. I have worked in corporate offices for multiple companies, always working at a computer for most of the day. I desire to spend some more time outdoors and using my hands. Also, I have never been to Australia, and I want to see what it is like. I’m very excited to try something new!!!

I joined woof to experience Australia from different points of view, to meet local people and to learn about organic farms. I am interested in traveling and learning through my travels, so I will be able to go back to my home country Israel one day and create a community based on organic farming principles.

To live, work and have fun on farms 🙂 And of course to get to know amazing people and learn more about different types of farming. I am very interested in regenerative farming practices, animal welfare, responsible slaughtering and basically how all things on farm are handled in the best interest for all. I also have questions on how farmers in Australia are doing regarding their income, and how they see the future of farming in Australia. I also would like to get closer to animals again as I feel like I have been sitting in front of my computer far too much during COVID and also now during my first full time position. And I also joined because I simply have the urge to be closer to nature again. I will be having my own car so I am free to drive a bit out as well. Lastly, I am also hoping to get some of my Australian no worries mentality back that I once had when I spent a year there.

Woofing has been a dream of mine for many years. Woofing can make my dream of one day only my own farm a dream now by working on others farms to help them achieving their dream and learning about organic farming in the process.

I am very interested in agriculture, I like to spend time outside and I would like to learn more about the nature. Also I always try to get in touch with local people when travelling as its a great experience and a great way to learn about new cultures and countries. Thus, I already experienced wwoofing in France, UK and Austria.

I wanna enjoy a daily life apart from the PC, but neary by nature, people and the real life. I love animals soo much, so I would enjoy to work with them – maybe help them. But i also wanna learn more about agriculture. I am totally not green-thumbed, but this is something I want to change during my WWOOFing time. Also I was raised up with many unhealthy and also industrial food. I changed this perspektive by myself the last years, but I also know I am not as mindful as I could be and as it would be absolutely healthy for my body, mind and soul. So this is also one of my goals for my WWOOFing time. Furthermore WWOOFing gives me the chance to discover new places, as well as people, while not spending much money and also still have enough time for my English lessons (is has to be 21 h per week).

Even though my life is here in the city, it can get abit much and I try to escape for long weekends whenever I can. I hope to buy my own property in the long (very far distant) future and want to accumulate as much knowledge and Skills in preparation for that. I figure wwoofing is the perfect way to meet great people, up skill and get my farming Fix at the same time!

I usually choose organic foods for the meals I eat. That's why I'm interested in organic farming. But I think there aren't many organic options in Japan. I heard Australia has more options. Also, I heard that my mother had gone to Australia when she was young, so I wanted to go there too. I chose WWOOF because I thought it would be better to live here than travel. Also, I thought working at an organic farm in Australia would be more educational than working at a Japanese restaurant. I have worked at an organic farm in Japan, and there are many kind people there. I would be happy if I could become friends with people who have a kind heart.

I joined WWOOFING because I always had the best experiences and met great people during volunteer work abroad or couchsurfing. I like to exchange knowledge and experience with other people at my place or places I visit. I won flights to Australia in a photo competition and would love to explore the rural areas while wwoofing for 5 weeks.

To meet new like-minded people and travel around Australia. I'm interested in spending time on properties with people who are trying to live sustainably and hope to share good experiences and conversations that deepen my understanding of life.

Hello, I am a 22 yo French student in agri-food engineering school. As part of my studies I am looking for a 4-week experience abroad (3 to 28 July 2023). I am looking for an inglish-speaking farm with the capacity to welcome me to share this wonderful experience. The aim is to improve my English, develop agricultural skills, also discover a new country and a new environment with a fauna and flora very different from the France.

The reason why I try to do WWOOF is that I’d like to have an opportunity to stay with people in different culture and work in a farm. And I am planning to study the environment and agriculture in graduate school, so I thought my experience at WWOOF would be important to me.

We joined wwoof because we enjoy sharing experiences with new people and making connections with each community we encounter. We are looking to enjoy some wwoofing experiences after finishing our 88 days while we look for apartments and jobs in Noosa as the next part of our journey.

I've joined wwoof because I love seeing what real life is like in a country, rather then just as a tourist. I hope to meet some amazing host families that I can help out in exchange for them introducing me to life Australia.

As I mentioned, we want to travel the world but also avoid meaningless work on our way. Therefor we were looking for a way to do something with a purpose that also enriches our travel experience. Furthermore we want to connect to people with a similar spirit. We would like to learn new skills such as independent farming, we want to understand more about the circle of life and we want to learn from the wisdom of people which are already working and living with this knowledge.
