I'd love to get to know local communities and real people doing real work, learn more about the land and different ways of living. I've never done anything like this but I was always interested in spending some time on the farm in the nature, have a break from the busy city life, doing hands on work and learn different skills from passionate people.

I joined WWOOF because it seems like a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, see a different side of Australia, and meet new people! I'm a hard worker with a positive attitude, and I really enjoy gardening and working outdoors, so I think I would have a great time WWOOFing.

Because I was attracted to this program for two reasons: the opportunity to be involved in agriculture and the chance to speak English. I started out thinking that I would like to experience agriculture first hand. I have no knowledge. But I am willing to try something new. I would also like to work on improving my English conversation skills at the same time. I believe that conversation is the most important way to improve my conversational skills, so I would like to actively ask questions and engage in daily conversation. And I will take seriously the work given to me. I look forward to working with you.

I joined WWOOF to learn some new skills and learn about local life in Australia, to visit the country in a bit of a less touristy way. I really enjoined my time WWOOFing in New Zealand, where I met other young people and was exposed to all walks of life and nationalities. I hope to find the same experience in Australia!

It's just the best opportunity to meet locals and be in nature. I love getting to know the country not only by the touristy things, but also the people. I grew up on a farm in Germany and are curious how things are different in Australia.

It was always my dream to visit Australia and now I finally have time and the opportunity to do my dream trip. My first stop is the language school in Byron Bay where I stay for 6 weeks. After that I would like to see Australia not only as a tourist. I want to meet the Australian people and want to see how they life and get to know their traditions. So, I choose Wooff. It`s the perfect mix between learning new stuff, explore Australia and also to save some money. I`m motivated to try everything. I`m ready to do physical work, housework or whatever is pending. When someone shows me how to do it, I learn very quickly. I`m industrious and independent. After the work, I hope there is the opportunity to see something of Australia and to do some trips or something like that. I`m excited to learn new Skills, meet new people, help people and have a nice time in Australia.

I'm seeking an indefinite reprieve from the forced demands of capitalism, and a network through which to learn and share essential skills for our transition to a moneyless society 🌽
